    The VLK that are in use by some of my customers will not work on an OEM Windows XP Pro CD, they require a Volume Licence CD.

    Seems like the most important thing to you is playing games. If that is the case, why buy a Linux based laptop? Why dont you apply the same criticism to the OS.

    I've got no problem with unions. They've helped keep corporations honest and done a lot of good for workers in America. We just don't need a union for programmers (but that's a different discussion).

    I disagree, this has everything to do with the discussion, because the H1-B holders are in fact driving down wages.

    I wasn't saying that old group back in 1986 were like communists... they actually were! They handed out union literature and communist literature at the same time! I also don't have any problem with communism when practiced voluntarily, rather than forced on people.

    Is that your opinion or did this literature actually use the word Communism or any of its derivatives?

    These "Communists" fought a war in WV during 1921 so you would not have a corporate slave. If it were not for these "Communists" (I believe Socialist would be a better term) we would all be working 100 hrs per week for worthless pieces of script to be spent in the company store where prices were much higher than they would be in a normal store. These so called "Communist" picketers are only exercising there right to free speech that seems to upset you. Who is the real Communist?

    The sound man for AC/DC rode his bike five miles to the store where I work to get a zip drive, but got the wrong kind. He called back and gave us two tickets and back stage passes to bring him the correct drive.

    I noticed that even before the political stories broke there was a surge in searches. This would be a good tool to predict when the next big political scandel will break and who will be involved. I wonder if google could be used to predict finacial trends.

    Would these companies prefer there not be search engines to "make money off there copywritten material"? I seems to me like it's a symbiotic relationship, because without the search engines no one would be able to find anything, and without sell ads with the search results the search engine companies would not be able to stay in business. On an unrelated note does anyone else think the new version of Firefox sucks?
