I dont think ebooks took off becouse atleast with digital media ie mp3 and such you could still play it in your car. Holding a e-book reader just inst the same as flipping thru the pages of the real paper printed book.
I can personly vouch that the Turbo touch 360 was a idea that sounded awsome in the adds but in reality sucked hard. The smallest amount of dust would cause it to act like it was insane. Never could get mine to work like it was supposed to.
yeah but if SNES cd did come out and it might have gotten all the titles that PSX did that slaughterd nintendo in the market. ie FF7.
only reason anyone wins in the Console wars anymore is Games lots of games Sony has that market dominated. Case in point only reason im going to gte a ps2 is becouse theres alot more games on it then the others not to mention all the older ps1 titles it can play.
actuly funimation offers a release that is uncut
for Dragon Ball and DBZ atleast the few other shows they have ie yu gi oh dont have enought of a market to justify it. Fruits Basket is also uncut.
MGS2 was cut in all version so it not really editng for diffrent cultures.
with some games theres codes to get the orginal scenes back in mostly with SEGA systems.
ie Mortal kombat: DULLARD down up left left a right down.
or Snatcher: entered Konami as your name in the computer and you got the uncut japanese version including the shower scene.
i bet if Linux was the dominant OS we would still have the same kind of problems just would be "hah i dont have it cuz im running WINDOWs!"
The reason theres so many windows virus is Windows is run on what something like 90%+ of all comps!

how long before someone dumps the rom and then it gets emulated in MAME.
