I don't agree. I still have my FIRST logitech mouse: the first trackball I ever saw... (early 90ties). It worked for 6 years, and then I retired it to buy a new logitech trackball... It should be lying there somewhere.:-) I now use the mx700 without hassle. Never had a problem with that brand. (I have a stack of compaq branded logitechs. No failiure there as well.)
And the uptime is 55 days and still running. My router/DNS/... box has a 4 year upime! (P75 with 16MB of ram.) I don't dare to shut it down because I think it won't boot again;-)
I've reviewed OO some months ago. It had a good spreadsheet, with an excellent random number generator, but still lacked a decent solver. No quantitative analyst can go without one...
Will you marry me? (You realise you'll still only be an employee, right?) A prefessor of mine always said: "Never touch the pay-roll". Of course, if you touch it before it might not be aplicable:-)
Hoy hemos matado a un terrorista --> Today we to eat a dangerous ista.
Wir haben es nicht gewust --> Wine is not a sausage.
Wie wis joe a melly klistmas --> We whish you a Merry Christmas.
SWAT's in Belgium? Naaa... Here we have GOP (Gentsche Oproer Politie). Morons without brains and with lots of -amphetamine fed- muscles. They occasionally bash in the wrong door & are often late:-)
NO guys! In Europe we are more civilized than this. Police just knocks on the door and you open it and offer them coffee (or sth. stronger)
I have used bluetooth and it rocks. The thing is with Bluetooth is that its only useful if devices come with it enabled. I recently got a pocket PC with Bluetooth and its great for connecting with other devices. PDA - Cell phone for Internet access is one good example. The only thing lacking with bluetooth is that not enough devices are shipping with it.
At first I drew two columns and compared features, etc. to them.
Then I drew two other columns on the board & started writing every imaginable cost (incl. staff training etc.).
It took me less then half an hour to convince them.
Maybe, but that shop also sells bullet-proof leather jackets. I often walked past that shop & they were "in display".
Larry, you have been fooled. This is an august 1st joke.

It feels weird having your first story accepted after all those years.
I'm thinking of these credit card based phones.
