Never heard of that weapon. Looks like the XM25 isn't so original after all. This K11 seems to do the exact same thing. However, I can imagine the US army wanting a home-made version of it. You would be too dependend on the Koreans releasing future versions. Also, I don't know what the political impact would be nowadays if the US would decide to buy 12+ thousand weapons from the south-Koreans.
I know exactly what you mean. I have a pretty busy life, I'm a parent now, I have my sports, my full-time job and my night-school. Always stuff to do. When I'm relaxing it's more and more with my family but I'm also a gamer, who sometimes, when the wife and son are not around, turns on the 360 to have an uncomplicated, immersive gaming experience.
And that's when the trouble begins. As of late I have found myself increasingly less (is that english?) engaged by most mainstream games. I thought about what had happened and I discovered that over the years (while thinking I had a broad gaming interest) my gaming interest had shrunk in scope and size. I can't be bothered anymore to play anything I don't want to play or thurougly enjoy to play. I used to be less complicated.
I have to charish my gaming needs, because it can actually deminish. The way to do that is to make it feel like work. Recently I played L4D2 which should be my kind of game (Zombies, FPS) but it dissapointed me very. (just my opinion, not starting a discussion about a particular game here). After that, I did't play for weeks because I 'did't feel like it'. I assure you, that never used to happen.
My advise to you is, and this has worked well for me: cherry-pick. This seems obvious but it isn't. Cherry-pick the hell out of it. This can mean that you need to invest into several consoles and a PC. These are the games that sparked my gaming mojo lately: Mass Effect2 (360), BioShock2 (360/PS3), Drake's Fortune2 (PS3), StarCraft II (PC).
Basically what I am saying is that there are allot of gems. Don't be afraid to invest in a console to get them. That's one time expendature. Never play a game because it's the next big thing but inform yourself well through site like gamerankings.com. If it scores 90%+ there and it has 30+ reviews, you can almost bet it's a good game. I love that site.
This is what is called innovation. This is people doing different things with your Kinect device than you had ever dreamed of yourselves. Sorry you didn't think of it all yourselves.
That's right, because after hundreds of millions of dollars and years in the MS R&D department some of the most bright minds in computer science haven't thought of ANYTHING these hackers are doing. And, as we speak, they are in NO WAY developing further commercial uses for the device. Yup, they want to keep Kinect confined to 'Dance Central' forever.
I didn't even *own* a console until I picked up the 360 on the day the Kinetic was released. So why did I buy an Xbox? For the same reason I bought a Wii
So which is true? Did you own one or didn't you?
I like your story but things like this set off my BS alert.
Is it really a good game?
I'm not sure. I bought it for the 360 a week ago and was unhappily surprised how much of the codebase of Oblivion was reused for this game.
I've done a couple of quests and while everybody is happy with the work they've done I really belong to the camp of the "Oblivion with Guns" people.
... is usually the end of the game for me. Somehow I feel extremely demotivated to play for hours and eventually reaching the point I was.
Even worse though, and you ALL know this; Loading instead of Saving. Don't lie, it happened to us all. Saving and loading usually require (with exception to quick load/save) a few simular actions after each other so after a while you have them automated in your head. And one fine day you start the "Load" sequence in your head instead of the "Save".
That's right and if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material.[
Let it ship 5m times more. Everybody should play this.
I played it through Hard, Easy and Medium (in that order). I have 1000/1000 achievements points. Still, the weird thing is; I was at work the other day and in a dull moment, I couldn't wait for my next trip to rapture.
I hope the game industry 'gets' that these are the games we want.
I usually have Security Expert I & II equipped, so I have significantly less alarm and overload tiles. Every camera I see I take a few pictures of because then I can see the 'weaknesses' of the camera.
Of course when I have positioned myself directly under the camera I can't see me anymore and if it hangs too high I can just jump up and finish my hack in mid air.
Unfortunatly, the guards are a bitch. For them it always seems to be "bring your daugther to work day".
Other then that, hacking cameras is a breeze, like I said, with just a simple minigame they are asking for it.
I'm happy for you guys but for us, Europeans, I mean the ones with the Live Gold account, we'll (probably) see none of this.
Sigh. How I'd love to watch the MLB live here
Document will say that bankers are crooks.
Life will go on unchanged. They will still get their buy-out.
Carry on.

So what happened man? You're killing me here.
Sounds like they should have used a switch instead of a hub. Then there wouldn't be collisions.
I think they shot their entire budget on repeaters already.
Richard Branson is by far my favorite actually existing Mad Scientist.

Awesome, a thread where we can be unlimitedly rude and still be on topic.

This is a triumph.
I'm making a note here, Huge Succes.
