I read multiple reviews for their scores, from Game Rankings, etc. These various sources tell me if the games are good to people or not in an overall picture.
"Former U.S. President candidates' Web sites can be just another place to shop for sex toys, download movies and get a law degree online in a few months...
When politicians and Internet domain names meet, strange things happen, particularly after the campaigns are over. Click on Elizabeth Dole's old site, and you go straight to an auction of Pokemon video games on eBay. A Libertarian currently owns the original 1996 Clinton and Dole campaign Web sites, and uses them to support 2004 Libertarian presidential candidate Michael Badnarik, while also hawking Clinton and Dole's latest books.
When asked for an explanation, a top domain-name registrar pointed out that Web site addresses are always rented and never owned, and that former owners can't dictate who picks up their discarded sites."
LiveScience report that a new analysis of the December earthquake that caused disastrous tsunami waves to strike Asia and Africa. The report finds it was three times more powerful than earlier measurements suggested. This would make it the second largest earthquake ever instrumentally recorded...
5 is a lot better than the previous releases. I actually uninstalled the release #4(?) because it was choppy and laggy when I played. I see the new one has better maps. I wasn't expecting it to be pretty (outdated BF1942 engine) as Star Wars: Battlefront, but it was fun. I actually got third place yesterday when I played on a new ice map.
Death_Knight's thread (screen shots [nice ion canon] and comments) mentions a FilePlanet (account required -- free or subscription) video file link (87 MB) with Gnomevasion in World of Warcraft. Here is the video file description: "What happens when you take 300 players, throw in teamwork, voice communication, a server crash, and one of the greatest guilds of all time? You get Gnomevasion! In this video members of Sturmgrenadier form up on an alternate server in WoW when their home of Bleeding Hollow goes down. Hilarity ensues when each and every member wreaks chaos on an unsuspecting server with pink-haired pig-tailed gnomes! Download this video and witness the true power of a Gnomevasion."
If you still want to keep the trackpad working, then cover it with something thick. My father does this since he still wants to use it once in a while. It works well on two Toshiba notebooks so far.
I personally can't use the finger control (don't know the term for this) with my fingers (have physical disabilities). I prefer trackball (my old Pentium laptop had one) and track pad if mice don't exist.
Wow, that's a lot of speed improvements. Yeah, I wasn't sure to wait for the next generation (e.g., G5) or hold onto my G4. G4 is still fine so far. I am not gaming, etc. Just basic stuff (Web surfing, e-mails, ssh, X11, OpenOffice, etc.).
Yes, but how quickly can Verizon deploy its FIOS? I am waiting for them to deploy in my city. I cannot get broadband services. :(

I didn't know that last comment was marked Funny. Heh! [blushes]
Is there a copy of this ad and other shows online? I wasn't aware that this happened!
Do we have to list every cities that are going wireless? :)
I posted a story on AQFL about it:

I have seen it in person (not in motions) since I am a friend of his. It's amazing. Eveyone is in awe of it. :)

I jokedly darely him to wear his mech suit in the building's elevators.

Are all of those old e-mail addresses still valid?
I would like to see a real-time live traffic map with maps.google.com like Yahoo!'s Maps.
Like http://maps.yahoo.com/.
I tried it over a broadband connection. It was nice, but on dial-up. Yuck!
Ask the /. staff for the IP addresses of the posts!
Does anyone have one of the first electronic music online to listen to? I wonder what they were like then back in the old days.
That is because I accidently posted it as AC earlier. :(

It is great to see MS providing updates for various software. Now, my concern is that they will not break anything. :)
Gamers wants Sims, World of Warcraft, etc. natively in Linux. Not those small freewares. :(
:(
Is Bill throwing a floppy disk?
Ha ha. Very phunny. :P
I am 20K ft. I would like to see phone companies reach out more to people like me. :(

Non-FilePlanet sites: #1, #2, and #3 (BitTorrent files).
Funny music video! It is two minutes and 20 seconds. Check it out!
