  1. Re:QuestHelper on Blizzard Asserts Rights Over Independent Add-Ons · · Score: 1

I think this is a mistake caused by Blizzard's overzealous legal team. I think, for some reason, Blizzard is terrified at the idea of anyone besides them making money on anything related to their game. I'm not sure why they're banning donation requests ingame but not out-of-game - I think they're just confused.

I disagree, I believe this is the result of another addon quest helper changing their money making efforts to requirement of payment.

Difference is, this would be cheaper than my wife and I wouldnt be told 'no' so often.

I think the RIAA still thinks they can win this case. They are still so out of touch with reality and how their consumers are waking up to the fact thaat they are being ripped off, and are having their money stolen by the RIAA. When judges, who are so rich they probably have people use computers for them but never actually touched one, are starting to undestand the lies the RIAA is spewing, one would think the company weould get out of court as fast as possible.

This is actually quite simple. This game is for teenagers who, for some reason, can not get hold of alcohol and want to pretend they are acting like grownups by getting smashed and being stupid.

After all, with all the drinking that goes on in WoW (Can you guys make any holiday not have alcohol all over the place?) how many of the people that sit there and "get drunk" in game are of age? If someone is of age to drink or has free access to alcohol even if they are underage, they will drink the real stuff, not "simulate" drinking on a game.
