before I return I'd just like to say that now that I know what has happened I won't forget, so yes the point has gotten across.
The thing is though In real life (this is an analogy don't take it literally), you can't expect someone to go to the encylopedia if they don't know what you're talking about. It is expected of you to elaborate on something you mention. How is it any different on the internet? Because google is there? That's complete bs and you know it!
Also I never said I didn't want to learn about it.
One more thing, they don't teach american history in these parts (but what iSwitched said is right, I didn't even learn my country's history when I went to school, I mean, is it really that important to see ancient greece, then the russian revolution, and not even topics which are important to know, like the events of the last 60 some years. . . );
I don't want to sound like a troll but WTF?
is this brought into the argument because they died in a sporting accident? drunk driving?
When on the internet you do have to be considerate of others (like ones who don't hear about the news of a state some 30 borderlines away. ..)
I guess what I'm saying is how I can never forget if I never knew about them in the first place?
well using the weapon analogy, isn't it best to fire a mortar volley a few hours prior, then to go in with the long arms?
I've always found a initial bid with max bid of like 60% of what you want to pay, then just wait around until the end then raise your max, has worked out well for me. Though theres nothing stopping other douchebags like me from bidding just to raise the amount you have to pay. . . I mean, I've NEVER done that. . .
the way I always see it is, MMOs mean NO games are being played. . . From my MMO experience they aren't much as games go. . . remove all the graphics and they all look like this to me:

I mean, I don't want to pick a fight or anything, but give me a couple of those games that are ~30 hours where things happen and story progresses over a 90+ hour virtual stairmaster. Hell, give me a stairmaster over a virtual one, then I could get in shape or something.
No, but just wait until you start to fall asleep pulling a late-nighter and you spill that vitual coffee mug all over your virtual TPS reports and have to fill them all out over again!
atleast they don't have the word communist in their name, in that case instead of crusing to the pirate bay next week they'd be cruising to the Guantanamo Bay. . .
I'd take a moment to consider the implications of that counter going past the moment where the first chair wass flung, but I'd rather duck all those airborn chairs before they f**king kill me!
at first I read "500mhz" and I was like, "don't they run at 2.4ghz now? Is this a dupe from like 3 years ago?"
then I read it again and did one of these O.O, then I read some of the article and relegated to one of these o.0.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with what you're saying, but to get the satisfaction from Guitar Hero it would take 10 minutes, from actually playing guitar it takes fairly long.
I've been playing bass for 2 years now, and I enjoy it (probably more than I would GH) but for the first few months of having it was a learning experience. Some people aren't dedicated enough to put that kind of effort into it. I bet those people could get their enjoyment out of GH. Without trying to put words in their mouth, I think that's what the parent was trying to get across.
ARG!!! why would an AC actually say something intersting and relative profound???? The one thing I've read all day that I want to mod has been ruined by the cowardice of the anonymous!
you mean it fools you into thinking that you make a difference in the game universe when really it just tells you that you made the decision that made the difference in the universe?
Don't get me wrong though, sometimes I love to play through some really good stories (FF7 etc) and I'm not really trashing the FF games.
Basically, FF makes me feel like I'm playing a really good movie, which is sometimes what is desirable in a game, and sometimes it isn't.
I'm not sure if this is the reason why a lot of people like Halo, but the reason I like it is that the story is actually really good. The premise is kind of lame and the level design is kind of lame for some parts of it, I'll admit it. But the Halo series is the first series to actually get FPS right on a console. I feel the controls are the finest they could possibly be on a gamepad.
In short, if you don't think of RPG as stats and turn based, I feel Halo has about the same amount of role playing as does the FF series(which isn't all that much).
there is one major flaw in your argument though.
you're saying that normal home entertainment stuff is at about the same pricepoint as the ps3. The thing is though, that if you start buying upgrades for your ps3 its going to be far more than just $500ish. They won't be giving that stuff away for free you know. I bet each component is at least $150. Start adding those up and it will be rediculous.

but you can't pop your BRDVD into a DVD player either.

I accept the fact that I will be modded down. . .
do you mean tres drôle? (not ha ha funny, peculiar funny) this is starting to hurt my head.
it records when you're looking at twat.
but in that direction you'd never hit zero. . .

now if only we could print senses of humor in the same way the GP joked about printing money. . .
just wait for the next line of software: Microsoft Bandage: Express Edition.
well seeing how it shines very, very well in Table Tennis. . . I think that depending on how GTAIV turns out you may have unproven your own argument.

Oh, very informative I'll keep that in mind the next time I see a defenseless troll :P
$0.99 no reserve?

so THAT's what it does. . . and here I was thinking it was made for the parachute in BF2. . .
He got you though, didn't he?
so in short: poorly executed yet masterfully done!
So you're saying that the *IAA should start a tennis team?
I didn't know FFVII was 6 pins. *ducks* For future reference: PS2 is a videogame console, PS/2 is a mouse/keyboard connector.

arg how is that flamebait. . . I suppose I should have said that "I get to play with vintage wii, and not have to crawl the back alleys to do it!"
