I could understand your concern if this was some sort of single player/multiplayer hybrid bumper cars game, where your son might get matched up against of bumper cars jackasses, but this is a gun-heavy FPS that's probably going to be rated M.

I mean, if they can disregard the entiretly of human faith except for their own and say everyone else is going to Hell, it's really a miniscule leap for me to say that their beliefs should be included in the giant dragnet of "made up" or "fairy tale" or whatever.

Viral marketing actually didn't work very well; the movie bombed at the box office.

On a lighter note, if you liked Serenity, you should watch Firefly, the TV show it was based off of. Same actors and everything, and it's every bit as good (IMHO, better).

You're half right; they did fire tons of people and axe lots of projects, but they moved into the new ILM offices just because Lucasfilm was consolidating everything. They would probably have fired the people and scrapped the projects regardless of any location shifting.

Sure is a shame, too. I loved KOTOR2 so much more than KOTOR, but I tell my friends that if they play it, they might as well just quit when they get to the last planet. It's about as satisfying as actually playing the game, and it's actually a little less frustrating.

I didn't touch a damn thing, and I'm no worker bee. You can teach someone to think for themselves, and at the same time tell them what they ought to do and what they ought not to do. Whether they listen or not is entirely up to what kind of person they are, but just because a little kid listens to their parents and doesn't touch the hot stove doesn't mean they'll always listen to authority, for ever and ever. That only happens if, in addition to telling the kid not to touch the hot stove, you don't tell them why. You don't let them question you or anyone else.

We see this with sickle-cell anemia and malaria; larger percentages of Africans (and African-Americans) have sickle cell anemia, because it also provides protection against malaria.

With an AI card, you don't have that luxury. Either they player has it, or you have to just dump all the AI (obviously not) or do it all on the CPU, which begs the question: why program your game for a dedicated AI card if you're just going to have to make it work on computers without one?

Cowboy clothing on a space ship doesn't make sense to you? Here's how it works. The value of clothes is based off what people will pay for them, not so much the material: fashionable clothes will always cost more than functional clothes, even if they're made out of cheaper stuff. Spaceships, though, get cheaper and cheaper, like cars (except the fancy one). One hundred years ago, if people had been watching science fiction, they would have been saying "bum clothing, with a TV and a car and a refrigerator?" The point is, poor people will always be wearing crappy clothes, but as technology advances, you can buy stuff like TVs, cars, or crappy spaceships without breaking the bank.
