    We had this over twenty years ago...
    They called it liquid paper.
    You rolled it out and it was held in place up with Poster clamps type slip-ons.
    You could also cut it to size, the bottom slider had the old RGB connectors.
    That tech got pushed back because CRTs were still selling...
    Forget who made it though and can no longer find anything on the net about it...sigh.

    I worked at a helpdesk back in 1999 and had racked up a ton of overtime.
    Got sat down by the Manager because they finally noticed what this was going to cost them....
    They wanted me to take a leave of absence to cover the time.
    I offered to work 10:00 to 16:00 Tuesday to Friday for as many hours I had to cover.....

    Best three months of my life!!!
    I barely took breaks or lunch.
    I found it easier to get there early and would get ribbed because I was never in a hurry to leave (more so than usual).

    I take three day week ends at least once a month now and sometimes work late so I can come in later in the morning. My wife has confirm I've been a happier camper ever since then.

    The Light pollution has been insane since they switched to the LED's in our area...

    new facial recognition/biometric/economic/credit-social score tracking systems yet?
    It's true we're being invaded (US and Canada) and it's awful it's still treated as bigotry and tin foil hat/alt right garbage but as I write this I enjoy a full life as a plus Fifty Technology worker, married, a bouncy new puppy, nice house, year old car and savings/investments with a plethora of hobbies, all of which would be curtailed by Chinese authorities were they in charge of our lives....so while we're alive (for the next twenty years or so) we should be at least a little grateful we're not in our twenties...
