The N64 controller is actually one of my favorite controllers of all time. It's all about holding it right. The first time I meet up with someone playing N64 they look at me funny or tell me I'm holding the controller wrong, then as I proceed to trounce them due to my superior form they shut up
Hold the joystick between your left index finger and thumb, you're left middle finger and ring finger can then use the d-pad and the r-shoulder button. On the right hand you have your thumb and index finger for a/b and the c-buttons, middle finger for the L-shoulder button, and ring finger for Z. Or something like that, I don't have a controller her and it's one of those things that's just instinct to me at this point.
I think you're own to something, although may I suggest making the crew lipstick lesbians, also we would need to fit the ship with webcams in every room.
It's true the best way to combat piracy is to provide a realistic and affordable alternative, and 99 cents is certainly affordable. But music downloaders are not going to switch to using a service that costs more as using BitTorrent or Limewire, but comes with abominable DRM or advertisements.
It ends up they basically found them after and detonated them which spread uranium and plutonium in the soil hence radioactive snails. But the summary definetly made it sound like the snails were the least of our problems.
Let's be honest, there is no way I'm going to dress up like Mario, jump over obstacles, and try to collect gold coins if I don't eat the mushrooms.

Now we just aren't being reasonable. If Microsoft didn't allow people to install these things every post here would be calling it anticompetitive and complain about how they don't give the user choices. I'm pretty sure I could make a "Log all credit card numbers and email them to me" extension for Firefox and if someone really wanted to install it I bet it would let them.
The fact of the matter is it isn't always obvious if something is going to break functionality, making a user aware that it might and giving them the choice is IMHO better than telling them they can only run signed software on their computer.
Selling a Vanilla mp3 is not hard for even the least qualified web tech using any e-commerce storefront.
And if we were talking about MySpace offering a place for web techs to sell mp3's I agree that this would be unnecessary. But we're talking about bands. Most probably don't even have a normal website. This allows them a simple way of selling their mp3's on the web without hiring someone to create and maintain a web store.
Is this going to destroy the structure of the recording industry as we know it? No. Is it going to be an easy way for some bands to start off and maybe get a real label? Probably.
Unfortunately this probably won't happen anytime soon. Most bands have long and drawn out contracts with their labels, especially the major labels.
Other than that I completely agree with you. I've never given much thought to boycotting shows too, probably because I don't want to but that's gotta stop.
I am in the habbit of checking if a cd I'm going to purchase is on a label in the RIAA and RIAA Radar works wonderfully for that.
When I started reading these comments it occured to me that passive boycotting isn't enough and a letter should help. I'm going to start working on a form letter that people can send to the band and label everytime they don't buy something from them.
One question I have about a letter of this nature. Would including contact info attract an unwarrented law suit? It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the RIAA willingly sued people they know haven't actually shared files. Although I'd like to think if I was actually innocent it could be shown so and at least put out the idea to the public that I was being targetted because of a letter someone wrote.
Less than an hour ago I was staring at it thinking "I really should try to make one of those." Of course that train of thought is always followed by... I think I like Daedelus more. Which is then followed by an image of me crashing into a mountain and I decide I should probably just get back to work.
This is a bit off topic but does anyone know of any follow up papers on Hwang Mi-Soon? She was the woman from South Korea who after being paralyzed for 20 years was able to walk again. Here is one story about it.
I'm not sure how reliable the Christian Post is with regards to stem cell reporting but I recall it being elsewhere and maybe even on slashdot. It was the sort of achievement that seemed almost too good to be true at this point in time and I was hoping someone could tell me if it in fact was.
A week, bah that's childs play. Snapple bought all of WFNX's ad time for 40 days. Two more weeks before I have to listen to real ads again and not just a quick plug for Snapple.
No only snitches... or maybe that's the foundation.
Email might be dead, but I'm going to keep using it until Netcraft confirms it.

I am very interested in your parenting ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
But if you have a car, you need to have car insurance. You can have a life and no life insurance.

It's not from comments being censored it's from trying to view comments before any have been posted.

Oh wait... some of them are... hmm.
how's that going to run crufty old windows apps from 10 years ago?
about as well as Vista is going to...
Consumer gear is often behind military tech. Perhaps you have heard of velcro, or GPS, or the internet.

Considering they don't get paid, probably.
Probably but I guarantee it would not taste good enough to take two bites out of.

I'm going to assume by step 2 he means plan B. I see how one could get confused.
First, artists would quit their labels.

Ha! That is exactly what I was thinking.

Two days ago I was driving for a few hours in my car and started thinking about this and came to the same conclusion.
I knew they were onto me.... *puts tinfoil hat back on*
In my experience a good proctologist is what you're looking for.
You might be old and stody but I'm still young and lively and I think most new things suck.
Anyone that has played through San Andreas can tell you that crack is bad for you. That's the basis of the games entire story.
