Everyone, even the most brilliant, cautious, and wise of us, will do something stupid every once in a while. I do not think it's a bad thing to make sure that parts from a kit designed to be used by children, who by nature, do stupid things more often, are designed to make injury difficult.
Smaller bottlers do make cane sugar sodas all the time. Jones, Boylan, and Virgil's spring to mind immediately, and frankly, I think they blow away cane sugar Coke & Pepsi products (even though those are good too). They may be a bit more expensive and not as ubiquitous (I think Boylan is only widely available in the Northeast US), but they're produced all year round and they're oh-so-good.
It's true boredom may be a threat that's taken out some people over the years, but you can't ignore how many more lives it's created throughout history.;)
Hmm... The company with some of the most popular computer games in the world listen to customer feedback and reconsider their decisions based on it. You don't suppose there could be some sort of correlation, do you?
Or grow a spine, be a fucking parent, and quit relying on discussion forums to help you raise your child.
Part of being a parent and raising your child is making use of available resources, including discussion forums, to get information about your child's situations and possible ways of dealing with them.
for all debts, public and private. Oh, except debts to apple.
A purchase is not a debt. As per the US Treasury's faq (here):
"all United States money as identified above are a valid and legal offer of payment for debts when tendered to a creditor. There is, however, no Federal statute mandating that a private business, a person or an organization must accept currency or coins as for payment for goods and/or services."
An article about parody videos with music set to lyrics mocking someone, and the first thing you thought of was a comic strip? I immediately thought of Weird Al Yankovic and how screwed he'd be if they're found to be infringing.
I don't think his works can be found to be infringing when he makes it a point to always get permission from the original artist before making a parody.
Maybe the mother didn't know the real gun was even there, and when she saw her daughter playing with what looked almost identical to a Wii accessory, she didn't think anything of it.
Where are you getting all this from? I'm a feminist and I certainly don't think any of those things are 'degrading women'. A man who sleeps around a lot could be degrading women, but that would be dependent on how he treats his partners, not that he has a lot of them, and a woman who treats her partners as objects and conquests would be just as bad. I have to say that I did find your accusation that we're all hypocrites who demand all men bow before us as if we were their masters insulting, though.
Maybe you've been listening to the craziest people who shout the loudest. Every movement, whether it be religious, political, or social has them. Maybe you're angry because you want to think of women one way and feminists say women should be thought of differently. Either way, the basic concept of feminism is that women are people no less (or more) than men and should be thought of and treated as such. Is that really so offensive?
Actually, in the last paragraph it concluded that the increased reaction speed wasn't great enough to offset starting later. The research team believes that Bohr, the man who conducted the first experiments on the subject and won every time when drawing second, was simply much better than his opponent.
No, but a lot of us think it's more fun to swing a controller when swinging a tennis racket in-game and move more than just our fingers and thumbs when playing other games (within reason; no one wants to run in place for the duration of a Sonic game). I think it all goes back to how kids play, how we played when we were little. We didn't just sit there, imagining having adventures like the characters in our favorite shows or books--we ran around, imitating their moves, acting out our adventures. And it was fun. And I think it's still more fun to act out part of the adventure you're having instead of only tapping away at buttons and pushing joysticks. I don't know about you, but if I was playing a Naruto game, I'd love to perform hand seals to use a jutsu instead of hitting A, X+Y, Z, right joystick forward.
Does everything in a game need to be done with motion control? No, of course not. But I think motion controls aren't the least bit laughable and can make a game much more fun when used properly.

They're going to be 3D, not magic.
They mixed up the hotel plans and the death ray plans again!
After all, who's going to tell armed women that they're unattractive.

Exactly. I mean, it's not like someone's been accused of having child porn on their computer.

Ice Cream Truck - This is one you should secretly change your friend's Prius to make.
I'd go for the theme from Jaws for mine.
The first version was written on papyrus, but someone walked off with it.
Ahem. You mean, "Make it so."

Great... Now even Slashdot comment threads are starting to have EULAs.

Ah, the 'mirrorwing' mosquito. I can see it now. Maybe not so much once I get a reflected laser to the eye.
There's always something better coming 'just around the corner'. If you keep waiting for it to come, you'll never get started.

I suppose it's a bit better than thinking, "Now I can play DDR anywhere!"
I'm sure we'd all be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on this matter. It seems like this subject would be right up your alley.
Yes, no one could ever come up with jokes for that name. Especially not if something related to the product is delayed.

A flame broiled war, you mean!
