Well, no, not only do these protrusions not burn (well) but the added friction will cause extra heat. Having things just "burn off" is also a bad thing because that also creates extra heat.

As far as i know, the ship is polished off so it doesn't have oily handprints or bird crap on it that will burn up on re-entry which could also cause it to heat up. If there's nothing burning, all you have is the friction of the wind and no fire.

and why is it, that because you want to see 2 girls make out that it becomes natural, and something you don't want to see (at the same time as boy on boy, childbirth?) is unnatural?

    Have to disagree.

If they showed other people the source code to windows, their team of lawyers would swoop down on anyone using their code and take everything they have and ever will have or create.

Just because they show the source to people doesn't mean it's not theirs, and that it's not copywrited by them and thousands upon thousands of patented processes don't disappear.

It would mean the end of windows, for the most part. As others have mentioned, binary compatablility would be trivial and everyone would be able to support them, copywrite or not.

That is, if they also opened directx ;) then we'd be talking.

Otay. We make an index of every file name on the harddrive. Then we'll make a big list, and on every keystroke, it will update the list based on what i have typed.

THIS IS NOT A HUGE INNOVATION. Not on mac's part, or on microsoft's part to play catch up on such a simple idea. File indexing has been done on MS os's (not sure about mac) and this is just a new way of using it (on_keystroke instead of on_gobuttonpushed, you know what i mean.)
