This is an old topic, however I couldn't let this pass.
Did you think this one out? SONY should cease operations? Wow, I hope you are never are a policy maker, imagine the social implications of making a large corporation ceasing operations. Unemployment, when you lack operations, you most certainly lack the need for employees. This might also have an economic impact, maybe driving the cost up for a lot of media devices, storage and what not due to the shortage caused by the lack of SONY's operations.
In the near future will it be possible to freely switch servers, not just using the random character transfer page? - (My friends created characters on different servers.) Also is there any plans for Cross-Server Battlegrounds, that's being talked about on the forums, to reduce queue times for BG content? Check it out here here.
That's a good point. The worse thing Opera ever did was give users the ability to change their User-Agent. So if a user wants the web server to think it's an IE broweser, you've just Opera's numbers, doing it a disservice.
Of course tastes vary, but even amongst the most fanatical Microsoft apologists (including myself) it is pretty much universal that Firefox, or even Opera, is the primary daily browser. That's funny, because I could have sworn that some form of IE's User-Agent accounts for 90% of my webservers hits (300 Mill a month).
Here's the plain and simple fact of why IE will be dominant as long as the Windows environment is the dominant platform.
Take Open Office 1.0 codebase, and Spork! Implement those features that you have to have. Don't jab Sun for implementing new features with one of their flagship products. They still sell StarOffice right?
I too play on Ner'zhul and just like you said Southshore and Tarren Mill is just a bloodbath going back and forth. It's like a huge cartoon dustcloud going back and forth while one side leverages to get the upper hand and than counterattack the other side's town. (It was great) However lvl 30's in that area just become causalties of this constant battle. I'd just avoid that zone altogether for a couple of weeks.
This is when I spit my google gulp all over my screen...
No personally identifiable information of any kind related to your consumption of Google Gulp or any other current or future Google Foods product will ever be given, sold, bartered, auctioned off, tossed into a late-night poker pot, or otherwise transferred in any way to any untrustworthy third party, ever, we swear.
I'll see your Joe Schmoe's contact information and raise you Jane Doe's SSN.
I've talked to my wife about this since the first article, I find it fascinating. Human society, with the thought of "immortality", would advance exponentially. Think about it. Most of our life is spent learning, a little bit of doing, and then passing off what we learn to the next generation. With this advancement. Minds like could be working alongside their protege, and the next one, learning and advancing. Even sports, Michael Jordan would be playing against the "next Michael Jordan" and so on.
Also think of family heirachy's, this would change also. Probably a lot like Tolkien's Elves. Family structures could expand into little fiefdom's, who knows.
And last but not least, we could all live to see "Duke Nukem" (I had to say it)
Well you've just inspired me to learn Ruby...
Choo Choo.
Didn't think Tetris was worth that much...

in one word why Microsoft hates Blu-Ray.
Java.
Yeah, however if he knew what he was saying, it's amazing that they responded to the greedy claims...
"We are selling our songs through iPod, but we don't have a share of iPod's revenue," he said.
With an even greedier one.
I wasn't aware that the Netbeans 4.1 and the mobility pack started working with Mac OS X.
One if its aims will be to extend the Java-based IDE to have full support for J2ME on a Mac.
Let's run your program, assuming it is in a proper class.
$ java WinXPEmulator

$ _
Nope, looks like you don't win.

Little girls don't download Firefox.
But I really have to stop my masochistic ways.
Here's your solution, instead of crying about it.
Take Open Office 1.0 codebase, and Spork! Implement those features that you have to have. Don't jab Sun for implementing new features with one of their flagship products. They still sell StarOffice right?
You know people read slashdot when you reply in a board meeting with: 'Yeah! I got a comment!' and everyone runs out of the room.
Best Post Ever.
I thought, so I read one line... All I needed:
- "Revenge of the Sith" is, quite simply, fucking awesome.
I closed the page, that's all I needed to know.

That's some Creative advertising.
Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week.
I agree there's been two times where I've held the PSP box in my hand, and just thought it was to expensive.
Besides the only game I play now is WoW anyways. Too expensive, drop it to $175 maybe I'll pick it up.
If by ending you mean first 20 minutes of the film, than yeah he ruined the ending.
Dude it's a tool that "The Man" uses to keep dibbs on you...
(gurgling sounds)
*COUGH* *COUGH*
P.S. I was a CSUC CSCI student. And If I remember right that conversation actually did happen.
Where you a developer for Ratchet and Clank 3?
But most of you guys whine and moan on here before logging off to go play WoW on an MS Machine that you paid for with W's tax cut.
Hey Hey Hey...
I play WoW on a Mac.
Instability of the servers at Starcraft's release?
Isn't bnet just used as a way to arrange games? Aren't the games of *craft hosted on one of the players box?
