Does some obscure company hold a patent for this so noone implements it;) With all the data everyone seems to have about you, noone has bothered to see which language you speak yet?
Maybe we can ask the 7-11 clerk for prior art for me mentioning this fact. English vs Spanish to paper vs plastic is then pretty obvious.
hehe, the result is the same also....either one works as i had no problem getting my money out when choosing Spanish (without speaking it)
Don't worry they will get back to you eventually....
Still hounding me for bailing in 2001! They changed my contract and lied about it being the same as what i had when i directly asked the diference and specifically what the catch was. My old deal was month-to-month and no ETF and the new one wasn't. ETF never disclosed. Trying to collect their little $200 cost them $2520 in monthly fees if they had tried to keep me instead:O Hope that little bump in quarterly earnings was worth it.
just calling it a microcopter or something and be done with it. It seems to be neither jet nor a pack in any sense of the word(s):( It does have landing gear and props pointed up...we used to call those things helicopters....
I suppose the real question is how do you license it/you for use ? I didn't see anything about how one would actually use it other than a toy in your own yard. Oh well 30 minutes flight time still isn't worth dragging it out to get there unless it was straight up anyway.
lol, our little company doesn't even have anyone else that write basic reports in our sucky report writer much less anything more advanced:(
On the other hand there are no complicated networking stuff (not handled by contract on the main system) or anything so complicated someone couldn't fix or replace it all.
At least being the boss' son and set to inherit it fairly soon there is no threat of me going rogue:)
"Believe it or not, the games & movies don't have to be rated."
Even better...'Not rated' is a selling point for DVDs nowdays it seems! How many movies have a version stamped unrated, uncensored, etc?
I got a catalog of DVD from some online seller. 1000 DVDs and half have no rating attached (think old TV shows, can assume not too nasty but nothing more) and the other half have unrated additional content. Couldn't one slip anything in there they wanted to;)
NASCAR is about the only choice without cable tho:(
And that is only for half the season, apparently one has to pay to see the rest now:/
There is the occasional Indycar race (NASCAR but scared to touch, ugh even worse) and sometimes a F1 race. I find the F1 races as boring as these people talking NASCAR... it usually looks like a parade lap just faster. The British F1 race in the rain was cool tho:) Perhaps they all just make it look too easy. Or Perhaps NASCAR just needs rain tires:)
Back on topic...I hope this 'league' will race more than once every three years...our attention span is a bit shorter than that ya know;)
Oddly enough i just checked for myself last night. Took me 2 minutes to find one through tigerdirect/systemmax. Check box on the custom build.
Interesting that it has a link for the terms of windows by the downgrade, so maybe one is lying by checking the box but i didnt spend the needed hours reading it all to tell;)
Everyone is talking about the ebay side of this...
While ebay is not what it used to be, what does it say about buy.com? There would seem to be no need whatsoever to go there, is there? Ebay is almost the same anyway and this would seem to cement the deal.
I think both had their place but now they are one and the same and don't fit so well with all the fat in either those places anymore:(
I rarely buy 'NEW' stuff on ebay, and now i rarely buy stuff i wasn't already looking for because sorting thru the chaff is too much work for very little (if any) gain.
Well, you would have to shut it off well upstream. How far ahead do you cut off everyone's gas? How much warning to how far ahead do you give industrial customers that can't have it cut in the middle of processing? Cutting it off far enough upstream to do any good means cutting it off to hospitals etc also. What if there a gas burning power plants nearby, do you cut that and peoples electricity also?
For that matter shouldn't you turn off the power so it can't ignite the fires?
Now that you turned off everyones gas and power....What do you do when the prediction was wrong or it was 3.0 earthquake and a million people are screaming at you, not to mention sueing you ?!?
"where pennies or even mills could be shaved off of people's bank accounts a little bit at a time"
Classic and still around ?!? Our credit card processor overcharges sales tax by one penny each month...no rounding involved;) Multiple by all customers in a state that charges tax and.... Profit:O (I spent 30 minutes asking about the penny..they don't really care)
Put me down for paid games. I don't want some tacky or underhanded way to get money out of me or do dozens of microtransactions. But you can't assume i am a pirate and bog it down with DRM. By the time i get my games loaded on my computer it no longer functions because the DRM schemes are too busy fighting for control i think:/
Maybe MMO could be run off that model but most the schemes seem clumsy for anything else.
Between them they say 8 people in US and 22 in UK with my name. Sounds about right, was only a few that came to US a few hundred years ago and we kept pretty quiet apparently. Uncommon spelling of a old english name.
Web searches usually get a blurb i wrote, some posts here and there and a bunch about a couple of those UK names.
lol, and they have probably extended your contract until the end of time roughly;)
They gave me some free night minutes once...and changed my plan without notice...in fact lied when i asked...and added a term and termination fee. 6 years later and they still think they will actually get that fee someday....
Ahh, i wondered why it went dark halfway through:(
I suppose the pop-up was above the part i was reading...seems to defeat the purpose of a pop-up tho. I figured my time was up....with everything lately it seemed that letting me view content for only x seconds was a natural progression;)
I can't buy v!agra if i wanted to...i get virtually no spam even on my 10 year old account. No idea what the secret is, but no idea how much qwest filters either.
Don't buy those ornaments that come every other month either. One purchase resulted in mailers for a dozen similar (and seperate, just send a damn catalog) offers in one week. 2 or 3 different company names but obviously related to my original purchase. Oh well, even my parents liked my dragon tree:)
lol, haven't gotten around to plugging the meter yet but i count 59 LED between my computer/hub/modem plus the 3 little blacklight bulbs:) Doesn't run them all the time and most of the fan lights are off or very low. Full power looks and sounds like a 747 on takeoff but not needed for cooling.
New project is now to test out my vintage iron. Note to check max rating on kill-a-watt first before trying the mini-computer with the 5 digit BTU rating;)
I did find that my desktop uses almost the same power 'off' as in standby tho:(

I would be happy to take the train 400 miles home for holidays...it is a gorgeous trip.
Except the departure time is 2 AM:( Just the ride to the station is a bitch. Noone wants to take you anywhere at 2 AM, there is no bus and even cabs are iffy at that point:/ Then you take this beautiful train ride in pitch dark. Then repeat when i return home. 30 people got off the train here and not one cab outside station...everyone has to call seperately for one. Watching college kid next to me build a Monty Pythonesque mashup for class was interesting tho.
Aren't they supposed to at least SAY 'for the children' or something?
*sigh*
Still safe to have 'Paper Please' on my baseball cap? a stick pin? belt buckle?
Maybe i need a patent for improvements to their 'invention'
lol, that's the one i always think of too.

Simply change anything that looks like a dollar amount to 6.55
If one of those was the gov annual salary or something, it's ok, better to cast the net wide nowdays than let anyone slip thru ;)
Don't worry they will get back to you eventually....

lol, thinking the same here :)
I spend my time playing video games....i am thinking a disconnect while driving may not be all bad ;)
Any artists want to come work on my basement foundation?
Doubt labor is a whole less but i bet the legos cost a far bit more than new mortar :(

20 years from now it might be an interesting footnote at least.
Kinda like my Compaq/Compaq AT clone with no markings and a flaky bios stolen from someone. Sadly i gutted it to make it actually work right :(

a nice shiny new PS3 to play with :)

When i am bored it will speed up the tape so the professor sounds like the chipmunks ... this might actually have worked with my chemistry professor :)
He always reminded me of the adults in a Peanuts video anyways.....
I was just looking for a new way to implement a tech support queue around here......
