Remove and make use of the magnets. They are valuable and extremely powerful, so make sure you don't put them near your watch or cell phone. Here is a DIY knife hanger I made a few years ago:
There are a few Custom Campaigns that you should try, both for single and multiplayer. The first one, Death Aboard, looks like as if it was made by Valve itself. It's really polished and has probably the best final level. The second one, Dam It!, it's only one large level but it provides adequate challenges. There is also a "Dawn of the Dead (2004) remake" custom campaign coming soon
Since I got rid of my 3.5' 1.44MB drive and disks several years ago, cheap USB Flash Drives have become their replacements. As long as the pendrive is fast and robust enough, I don't care much as size. 1 or 2GB are ok for the use I am giving them. I have a dedicated and encrypted drive for my work, another with personal data that's in a Ziplock inside my safe, another one in the internal USB port my motherboard has, another one in my DVD player front USB port, another four in those mini hubs behind my pc, etc. If I need better and faster portable storage with respectable size, I use my 300GB WD Passport Essential that got in a Amazon deal. It has multiple partitions, some encrypted.
No, he said he wanted a Windows Executable with a nice GUI that would automatically download the right soft (Some custom ISO) and let you store everything you need in your USB Pendrive, like codecs, office alternatives, Firefox, etc. Something my parents could do over the phone as long as they have USB booting as default to migrate.
I live in Argentina and in order to legally buy a cellphone you need (to have and) show your DNI (ID) and not only that, they also do 2 photocopies of it.(The store keeps one archived and the other goes to the government for investigation). A lot of people are actually banned from buying equipment or new cell lines, so they often go to the black market to fulfill their needs. Regardless of that, I only use my D.N.I. (National ID document) for voting and bank related paperwork. For general ID we got a CI (ID card) that according to the law we should carry it at all times). Oh, also we need a driving license if you are driving so there goes ID # 3.
I'm from Argentina and I bought Left 4 Dead for $37 during the holiday sale deal. I already had the pirated version but wanted to play online (hassle free) and have the latest future patches or (free) DLC from the moment they are released. You could say I bought not content but a license to play it buy I'm fine with that given that I played countless hours online so far (compared to the offline-only/buggy/abuse-cheat online servers from the pirate version). Another odd remark is that the retail version was not yet available in my country, so Steam was the only legal way to buy it back then. Also I got the $10 Team Fortress 2 deal a few weeks ago and I'm loving it.
Everything in Europe is expensive due to their overrated Euro. Not a coincidence that now with the economic crisis several countries in the EU are considering the devaluation of the Euro or getting their own currency back.
If you are a frequent buyer at Amazon you often get deals not available for everybody else. I have a wish list with several items that I save for later and everyday one of those items gets a "special discount" and it's displayed in the front page( usually 5$ off). Funny thing is that if I logout or use another account the price goes back to normal. I also got free credit for their "on demand" movie store and magazine subscriptions. If you stop entering their site for a few days you usually get an email with reminding you of future "gold box" deals in the department you showed interest. The problem with this is that online shopping may become addictive, specially with their 1-click option enabled.
There are a lot of laptops with firewire 800 port and no GigabitEthernet, just FastEthernet. I know I'm screwed with my Vista loaded Sony Vaio anytime I have to copy dozens of gigabytes to my desktop.
Some of you are saying that Firewire 800 it's fast enough. Remember that for some marketing reason there is no IP over FireWire in Vista, so forget about sharing data using your trusty firewire cable with a Vista PC.
A few years ago, a/. user posted a link to a site with a hardcore, unbiased user that independently reviews games and slashes them if they deserve so. I noticed I agreed on most of his opinions so I use him as a reference anytime I'm looking for new games
Good thing that most of us tagged this product as a toy, because it really is. If you are looking for something green, affordable and healthy to do your moderate daily commute consider getting a portable bicycle. They are a blast in Europe and with current gas prices we may begin to see more of them in USA. Really practical if you gotta do only a few miles, live in a large city or public transportation isn't an option.
Let's say Dell, Sony or HP accept the failure, make a recall and fix your laptop for free. That won't help at all to people who bought a computer in USA a few months ago and now are overseas in an isolated area either studying, working or hell, even in Irak. That was the whole point of getting a notebook for me, using it in the field. And we expect it to work for more that a fucking year. I know there are professional gear like those Panasonic ones that can even stand EMP but all I wanted was something that, under normal use, didn't burn and explode. I guess I will have to accept just a firmware update or underclocking...
Microsoft may got something here. I don't think Vista's requirements are a problem at all for people with at least a 2 year old pc. Vista's main problem is marketing related. They didn't stick with only one household version (ultimate) like OS X does, instead they offer you 10 versions like "starter, home basic, home premium" and people gets irritated and confused. This Mohave thing looks like a facelift making the product less microsoftish and more Web 2.0/Apple inclined. It may work with people who got seducted with a Macbook if they cash in good press, enough ads and TV spots.
Actually M. Night Shyamalan wrote Bioshock 2's script but it was canned after they found out he was one of the masterminds behind 9/11

I agree and the perfect example for this is Grand Theft Auto IV.
The only exception so far this year has been Street Fighter IV.
We should start beta testing "Adblock plus - News papers and Magazines special edition"

She can always use Portable Skype in her Notebook.
As long as her internet connection isn't filtered she won't get in trouble.

There is another file system you may consider if you use Windows Vista SP1 or Windows 7 exclusively
