That's a TOS, not EULA. Look over the Paypal TOS and it's vastly different. It covers everything from requirements to be a Paypal store to all the details of recieving a payment.
The lasers are suspended above the table and used to draw out a computed path for the ball. It isn't like there's a laser beam coming out of the cue ball to let you know where you're pointed.
Yadda yadda yadda. I pay my landlord with Paypal, I pay Penny Arcade with Paypal, I accept credit cards for auctions via Paypal, I use Paypal to get a quick $10 cash off my roommate (live-with ATM!), and I use Paypal to pay for items which I buy from non-local people (both through auctions as well as other arrangements).
If I get burned through an eBay auction, I won't bitch about it. I'll try to resolve it, but as for "i'd rather buy from the worst blooksuckers on pricewatch," I buy from them too. Over the past 5 years I've saved many thousands of dollars by buying through eBay and pricewatch.
I'm not too worried, but I won't whine like a baby when something happens because I know the risks I'm taking.
To me, it's more than worth it, and Paypal is a wonderful thing. If you don't like taking such risks, don't use it.
It would be nice if you at least attempted to understand why some people do.
I have a PC with 3 80GB 7200 RPM drives, a CD drive, a floppy drive, and 3 DIMMS with an Athlon 1200 that runs fine with a generic 250W PS that came with the $15 case.
Actually, it's much closer to 2%. Antarctica has 7,000,000 cubic miles of water in the form of ice out of the world's total of 326,000,000 cubic miles.
Give me a break. I deal with calcium carbide and acetylene all the time. A bird would have some mad belching to do, but it wouldn't explode. You're totally full of shit.
DOS 6 does, but does your latest whiz-bang GeForce 4 work on it?
What about Windows 3.1? Does your USB printer work on it? Does your SB Audigy put out 5.1 channel Dolby Digital on it? How about that nifty Firewire camcorder? Can you watch those DVD's on it?
A friend of mine got fined and threatened with court action recently. The reason? She owned a tv (it was sitting in the closet) and didn't pay the government for the right to own one. You think she has a right to do what she wants with the radio waves? No such right exists there..
Not true at all. My WD 20 GB disk has four platters. Once upon a time, they didn't make four platter disks, but they switched. Unless they switched back in the past year or so, they're still making four platter drives.
I build my own high-performance workstations and servers, but when I buy computers for work, I always go with Dell.
Why? Because they make a far, far better $500 computer than I can, and when a component needs replacing, I call them up and get a new one in the next morning, no worries.
Partially unconstitutional? It either is or it isn't, the law either stands or is struck down by the Surpreme Court. They can't knock down sections of it and rewrite it.
Because Hemos liked the link and wanted it there.
There's no mission statement for this site other than something like "the editors will post whatever stories or articles they like."
What did YOU think slashdot was?

You didn't read any of the article, did you.

Not only unanimous, but every single registered voter in the country turned out and voted for Saddam.
100% voter turnout is pretty impressive.

Um.. you need to check YOUR math. 10 minutes, not 10 hours.
10 minutes = 1/6 hour.
1/6 hour / person * 6 billion people = 1 billion hours
Did you see his picture?
Naming a gerbil "Mauler" doesn't make it scary.

But the article is all about Monster Game.
Any audio or videophile will tell you Monster Cable is way overpriced... and Monster Game?! Stick another name on it and up the price!
There is tons of good cable out there. Notice he didn't compare the Monster Game S-Video with the $6 Wal-Mart S-Video. Hmmm.
Spend $200 on a new PC (or even less for a used one), and set it up to share its connection.
Easy as pie, and not all that expensive.

how's that?
Ten years ago?
I thought that was 68-69.

And second, did YOU actually talk to them on IRC, or are you trusting someone else who TOLD you they did?
Whatever kind of music you like, check out Prince's Pussy Control.
Seriously.
You left out the "piss off our customers by forcing them to buy backup cd's from us, and decrease our revenue and alienate our consumer base" part.
All I want is the same as everyone. Why am I here? And for how long?
And I raise my head and stare..
Welcome to the joys of a socialist system.

Seems to me that since they can't find the guys who are actually doing something wrong, they'll go after the guys who have the big, deep pockets.
Diamonds require a tremendous amount of skill to cut. Have you ever even *seen* a raw diamond, much less seen someone cut one?
Of course, buying one is easy.
