    That's a TOS, not EULA. Look over the Paypal TOS and it's vastly different. It covers everything from requirements to be a Paypal store to all the details of recieving a payment.

    You didn't read any of the article, did you.

    The lasers are suspended above the table and used to draw out a computed path for the ball. It isn't like there's a laser beam coming out of the cue ball to let you know where you're pointed.

    Yadda yadda yadda. I pay my landlord with Paypal, I pay Penny Arcade with Paypal, I accept credit cards for auctions via Paypal, I use Paypal to get a quick $10 cash off my roommate (live-with ATM!), and I use Paypal to pay for items which I buy from non-local people (both through auctions as well as other arrangements).

    If I get burned through an eBay auction, I won't bitch about it. I'll try to resolve it, but as for "i'd rather buy from the worst blooksuckers on pricewatch," I buy from them too. Over the past 5 years I've saved many thousands of dollars by buying through eBay and pricewatch.

    I'm not too worried, but I won't whine like a baby when something happens because I know the risks I'm taking.

    To me, it's more than worth it, and Paypal is a wonderful thing. If you don't like taking such risks, don't use it.

    It would be nice if you at least attempted to understand why some people do.

    I have a PC with 3 80GB 7200 RPM drives, a CD drive, a floppy drive, and 3 DIMMS with an Athlon 1200 that runs fine with a generic 250W PS that came with the $15 case.

    There is tons of good cable out there. Notice he didn't compare the Monster Game S-Video with the $6 Wal-Mart S-Video. Hmmm.

    What about Windows 3.1? Does your USB printer work on it? Does your SB Audigy put out 5.1 channel Dolby Digital on it? How about that nifty Firewire camcorder? Can you watch those DVD's on it?

    A friend of mine got fined and threatened with court action recently. The reason? She owned a tv (it was sitting in the closet) and didn't pay the government for the right to own one. You think she has a right to do what she wants with the radio waves? No such right exists there..

    Not true at all. My WD 20 GB disk has four platters. Once upon a time, they didn't make four platter disks, but they switched. Unless they switched back in the past year or so, they're still making four platter drives.

    I build my own high-performance workstations and servers, but when I buy computers for work, I always go with Dell.

    Why? Because they make a far, far better $500 computer than I can, and when a component needs replacing, I call them up and get a new one in the next morning, no worries.

    Partially unconstitutional? It either is or it isn't, the law either stands or is struck down by the Surpreme Court. They can't knock down sections of it and rewrite it.
