    My guess is Microsoft already had this patch on the shelf. Software DRM isn't secure by default, it entirely depends on obfuscation. You have the key and the encrypted file it's simple really. The patch obfuscates everything a bit more and breaks the crack. Apparently not enough because the DRM is broken again.

    I have some arguments for you. Vo0 plays quake 4 nowadays and is quite good at it. Before Painkiller he played Quake 3 and surprise surprise he was good at that too.
    But stating that he helped with the development of the headset is obviously a marketingtrick because everyone can figure out what is important:
    • Accurate Sound
    • Good noise reduction

    Skilled fps-gamers tend to be smart also. There is actually thinking involved in games like CS and Quake. With good reflexes you can rack up some kills on a public without thinking, but as your opponents improve thinking ahead and predicting them gets more important.
     
      Teamgames also require some good communication-skills

    In most parts of Europe MSN dominates all other clients. Germany seems to be the exception. There ICQ and AIm are used a lot more. I don't have any numbers to back it up just experience :(
