Yes there is. Here's another example, since some people don't like Merriam-Webster's offerings. I would've linked the Oxford English Dictionary, but it's subscription only, by the look of things.
I've never touched a Live game...but I'm almost certain that their matchmaking probably works a bit better than the one used in FIFA 2004 (which should be the same as the rest of the EA sports games) for PS2.
I've played three matches in the two and a half months that I've had the game, and it's not for a lack of other players, it has more to do with the fact that a connection to the other players is never established.
I, for one, would welcome something more stable/standardized, even if Satan was the one putting it out there...
Even if you try to cut out the importing portion of acquiring game soundtracks...you end up dropping mad coin. There's a store here in the Dallas-area that sells a lot of soundtracks, but they're generally 20-30 USD. It's called Anime POP!, if anyone cared...
I never liked the whole 'filling in the holes', bit. What ever happened to using exposition...or, even better, allowing the audience to decide for themselves what happened. It was a neat demonstration of the convergence of two markets, though...and it was pretty, at times.
It just goes to show, that even when you're 'bashing' a game, you've got to pay your bills and shill it, at the same time. Bad press is still press, and some people might buy some of those games based on what they've read...
Final Fantasy X-2? No, I can't put it down...but I don't like it one bit. I just want to get the remainder of the story before I bury it in my backyard, really. The gameplay tries too hard to be fluid and innovative, and to me, fails in both respects. Items don't matter any longer, either...and that's a travesty. It was horribly over-hyped and over-rated, IMHO.
Amen to that! I especially enjoy the fact that they tend to shy away from the 'larger' bands within the given genres...NOFX and Alkaline Trio is about as big as it gets for THUG. But nothing will ever top THPS2...Bad f'n Religion! Guh, I'm such a fan-boy.
This series, for me at least, has offered the best blend of different genres in terms of licensed music. If you like rap/hip-hop...you're covered. If you like rock...you're covered. If you like punk...you've more than covered. Before these games, I had a tendency to turn the music off (volume down), leave the ambient noises on and put on some cd or another. I do hope that future iterations on PS2 will utilize the HDD and allow people to play music of their own choice, though...because one Strike Anywhere song only makes me want to hear a bunch of Strike Anywhere songs.
I want this game...and I want this gameboy...and I want the case. I want to move to japan so I don't keep getting screwed out of cool, completely unnecessary stuff that has no additional worth outside of it's 'neat' factor. Oh well, at least I can get the game soon.
Why does this have to be at SMU? WHY?! I loathe that place, and I will continue to do so until my ex-girlfriend finally graduates...or until I grow up...whichever comes first (likely to be the graduation).

missed the joke.
I got that one almost verbatim...excepting, of course, the ROM proposal. Suffice it to say, things didn't work out for us.

hell, even semi-colons would've worked.

Thanks, mom. ;)
I heard that rags everywhere (dish, oily, et all) were uniting to be disassociated from the cesspool that is the Post.
horse..soundly..beaten..while..dead.
So he works for Burger King now?
Poor guy. You should totally blow up the box/cd with fireworks...I bet that'll make you feel a little better.

When it's a fictional burgular tapping an oversized gumdrop...you're damned right it is.

mod me down for not having read *all* posts first...stupid acting before thinking.
"I see you've played Knifey-Spooney before!"
*the above is a (possibly marred) simpsons quote...obligatory, of course.*
that made me laugh so hard that I damn near cried. (no sarcasm was included in this post)
Didn't Q-Bert get his own show at some point? Maybe an inclusion into some other cartoon show?
go rent 'requiem for a dream'...watch it...then cleanse thyself. repeatedly.

this kind of looks like a laptop...but it's a ps2.
or these might work:
BG: time 1
GL: time 2
just thought I'd help you out with those (they didn't work for me).
