I haven't found one decent looking webpage on MySpace. It seems to be home for teenagers and college students who are too cheap to pay 3 to 10 dollars a month for a hosting company and who still think the blink tag is way cool. If you want freedom of speech and all that other non-sense on the web go get yourself a domain name, pay the few bucks a month for hosting, and a 20 dollar book on HTML. You get what you pay for.
I use to be a big EA fan. Up until Madden 2003/2004 I would get excited about the years new sports games and such. Then I started to notice more and more how uninnovative they were at game design and lot of the games for the PC where buggy! I'm looking at you Command and Conquer Generals. Then the overworked developer lawsuit happened and the exclusive NFL deal turned me off forever to the companies games. I'm happy to say that since last year I haven't bought one EA game. I've done my best to explain to family and friends who play games that EA is a horrible company that doesn't deserve our business. Bring back Sega's ESPN games damit!!
Yes, you can blow almost 500 dollars on an Xbox and a game. From what I've seen on the lineup I'm only interested in Call of Duty or King Kong (Both of which you can get on the PS2 and PC). Non exclusive titles rock!!! Especially when you can pay an extra 10 dollars for them on the 360. I'm promoting the DS to all my gamer friends this christmas. Mario Kart with the Wifi is just too damn fun and games like Kirby Canvas, Castlevania, Trauma Center are fun and you can't get them on any other system. Maybe comparing the xbox360 to the Nintendo DS is like apples to oranges but all I know is that my Nintendo DS is well worth the $130 investment. Can you say the same thing about the xbox 360?
All people in Africa are black and will rape small babies and eat them if given a change. Oh and people in Germany fart saurkraut and set fire to Jews for Kwanza. And Japanese people have no souls.
I saw an ad on Battle.net for people to vote for StarCraft as one of the inductees. I can't help but think that the voting was lop sided to blizzards fans. With that said, I really do think that StarCraft is one of the best games of all times. I play Command and Conquer and a couple of other RTS games before but never really got into the genre. StarCraft changed all that with graphics, gameplay, and one hell of a story line. I can't think of a single game that I've played more than StarCraft. Kudos to Blizzard. Those guys are insane when it comes to developing RTS games.
PSP gets 4 stars but PS2 gets 3 stars? I call shennanigans on this article. I remember people camping out for the PS2 and in the Washington,D.C. area alone people were getting mugged for them. The PSP was a little more of a whimper. People were like "it looks cool but I'm not blowing 250 bucks on it." Also within the first day there was reports of crappy hardware production on the PSP. Remember the dead pixel issue? The arthur of this article is just pulling stuff out of his ass.
Just because they have a patent doesn't mean they are going to use it. Nobody at Sony would be stupid enough to implement this on the PS3. If they did, gamers would view Sony on the same level at the Phantom Game Console.
Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I'm not very excited about PS3 or XBox360. I've seen too many console releases come and go over since the 1990's. Every single time a console comes out it usually takes about 6 months to a year before anything seems worth wild to buy and for the initial price to come down. I got a DS for Christmas and that thing was $150 and it took about 8 months for any must have games to come out for it. Now the thing is selling for something like 120-130 dollars. I should have just waited to buy the DS in July. I guess my point is that I'm not concerned about the PS3 price because if I buy one it won't be until next Christmas or even sometime in early 2007.
The Japanese, realizing that they could never beat physically fit Americans in war, have covertly set out for the past 30 years to make Americans fat. The current generation of American children will get to harpoonable size by the end of the decade. This is the final phase of their fiendish plot before they initiate their Pear Harbor Invasion Part Deux plan. I'm estimating sometime in 2011 Hawaii and part of the West Coast will be under the Rising Sun flag. Dead, bloated children and teenagers will litter the ground clutching onto their DS's and Big Macs. This is how liberty dies...with thunderous fatness.
A year or two ago I was one of those players who bashed Nintendo for having kiddy games. However, I was getting bored with most new games coming out for PS2 and XBOX (same game formulas but better graphics). However, I played metroid huntters in the store about a month before the DS release and I was sold. I got the DS for Christmas and thought it was fun with Mario 64 but the game library was lacking. I was almost going to give up on it until this summer when it seemed like every couple of weeks crazy innovative games were coming out for it. Meteos is an excellent puzzle game, nintendogs is just technically impressive, and Kirby Canvas is addicitve as hell. And the fact is that if any of these games were on the PSP or console they would just be average because of one screen and you would have to use a regular controller. I can't explain how fun it is to play Kirby with the stylus pen. Yes, I still want games like GTA and Doom but I can't stress enough how innovative/creative these games for DS are.
So basically you will be able to play a 3rd person shooter by having two controllers, one that controls your movement and one that allows you to look/aim/shoot. I can see this giving a huge advantage over the standard controller and probably even a keyboard and mouse. So, when MS and Sony release Unreal 2007xv5-9 they will boast better graphics but you will still be kept down with the basic controller. However, Nintendo would release the same game with less graphics but the experience of playing it will be more immersive. I'm sold.
Yeah, I'll be sure to invest. Last year I bought Red Hat at 30 bucks a share and now it's somewhere around 14 or 15 bucks. Oh and I thought I would be cool and I bought VA Software stock at 2 bucks a share. Now it's down to about 1.50. I think I'll just invest in Apple or MS...
What did they think was going to happen everytime they ran an ad in the paper wanting 5-10 years of main frame experience? College grads would come into the job market and only get jobs doing entry level web developerment and software enginnering. The smart thing for a company would be to hire interns or these college grads to do entry level work on main frames so that in 5 to 10 years they have the experience to be senior main frame people. Corporate America just shot itself in the foot!
I don't know. I always thought that mutant league football/hockey on the Genesis were damn fun.
Re:$60 for games too much?

Xbox 360 for $300

I remember there was Virtual Racing for Sega Genesis that cost 100 bucks. The reason that cartridge games were so expensive because the game companies would load them up with RAM to make them have pretty graphics. Remember STrider for Sega Genesis. The box for it advertised that it had 8 megs of RAM! I believe the game sold for 70 bucks. There is no reason today to sell games for more because they get stamped on the same CD/DVD disc. Personally, I'm going to hold out on all three new consoles until I know which one is better and which one is more cost effective. I'm already squirmish about shelling out 50 bucks for a new game.
I would say the Racial stereotyping. The black community in the inner cities is a complete joke. Drugs, crime, unemployment, kids born out of wed lock, etc. contribute to this stereotype for blacks everywhere. They keep yelling about role models and being responsible but this type of theme in the game doesn't help out any. Instead of being outraged that Rock Star is feeding into the stereotype, the board and white america let it pass. Now that there is sex in the game people are yelling about "what about the children??!!"
Let's see the game is about black men running around smacking hoes and doing drive bys and most people don't have a problem with this. But, once you add some sex into the game there are congressional hearings. Stupid America, when will you ever learn?!
The dead horse statement should include Final Fantasy. I'll give you that.
All I'm asking is that they have an option where you can walk to or away from a zombie while firing a handgun. I'm not talking about flying through the air while shooting gernade launcher like it was some bad Michael Baye movie.
Good Point with RE4 but generally speaking the RE series is know for zombies. Will see where RE5 takes the franchise.

Yes you can see a difference but it is slight. It's a nice feature to have but it doesn't compel me to go out and buy a xbox360.

It's true. I have a DS and I'm getting married next year. Stupid Fiance'... /need a low commitment relationship.

half way through the trailer I was like "I've seen this, oh yeah, Resident Evil!" God I hate Hollywood.
Grandma doesn't mind shooting virtual black people!! Racist bitch.
You can get JSF and Sega GT for 3 Bucks for the Xbox!

How about
Resident Evil: How to beat a dead horse
Resident Evil: Hot having to stand while you shoot action
Resident Evil: I get it they are fucking zombies
