have they announced the speeds yet? Because intel has some powerful mobile processors that they may throw in, whereas..you wont find a 3ghz apple laptop
but then again, more than likely intel will throw in just another slow processor to make it quiet, and cheaper
isnt there an article around here somewhere about useless scientific research? honestly, if we havnt even set foot on mars yet, why even look at saturn
i find this article to be the most fake thing i've ever read, even though i havn't read it yet
anyone that is still in school knows that you can NOT take away microsoft from teachers, as they are the most un-tech-savvy people around, i once had to instruct a teacher how to read images from a CD, another time a teacher asked me if the monitor had anything to do with the CPU.
im a little dissapointed, not as much with the movie as i am with lucas for making it so.. mundane.
There was story, but how many of us felt it? Between the near-seizure-causing-amoung-of-lightsaber, there were the little tidbits that we didn't even notice, because we already knew.
so, im more upset that there wasnt anything new, just that which has already been covered
i myself purchased one of these pistolmouses around christmas for 40 bucks, it is a very neat design, but i caution those with little desk space, as its about 2 inches longer than the standard mouse
it is also a very sensitive mouse, you'll find yourself turning down mouse sensitivity in some games (max payne, most noticibly)
my game performance hasnt increased at all, but there are a few games i just cannot play with it, games that rely on alot of scroll wheel usage
which brings me to the final point, the scroll wheel, if you use firefox (of course you do) chances are you are constantly middle clicking, well doing it horizontally lets you mess up and scroll/click instead at the same time, it gets annoying, but its not a big turn off
but you see, nintendo themselves also stated that the revolution may turn off much third party support, as it will not be easy to port games too, what with the whole being revolutionary thing
backwords compatability, break it with the ds, and then fix it with the revolution.
i honestly cannot wait to see what sort of innovation the revolution brings to the table, coming from a nethack/doom/quake player, i can honestly say graphics mean nothing to me, unfortunately i have gracefully admitted some sort of semi-defeat, and pre-ordered a PSP,
i love the DS to pieces, but untill it gets a few more games state-side (and as of yesterday, europe) i cant see any one running to buy them anymore
k, i see no problem with ID badges. my school makes us wear them, if you're caught without one, OCS (on campus suspension) for the rest of the day or 5 bucks for a new one (profits went to the security cameras we just got, thank you), caught passing someone elses off as your own 3 days OCS
i honestly see no problem preparing kids for the real world, name a profession that doesnt require you to wear an ID badge or nametag! i work at a fast food joint in the back and im still forced to wear a nametag.
i am also a strong beleiver in school uniforms (saying alot for a 17 year old)
i disagree with most things said in the review of this fine book. It is for beginners yes, but not for complete beginners, its just not that simple that a 5th or 6th grader can pick it up and learn, my brother had purchased it to make his science fair project around that age.
so for a semi-but-not-entirely-mis-leading-name, 7 out of 10.
looks to me like the good folks at gamespot have a case of "halo fanboy-ism"
they honestly do not point out ONE flaw worthy of crippling this game a whopping 0.9 from the sheer perfection it is. Show me a more beautiful game, and i will weep.

yes, but IMDB also lists Die Hard 4 : Die Hardest

but hey, at least the schools 486s play DooM fine
i actually read it as 'Women Unstable'
But I also thought 'no shit'

final stance : Go team Nintendo.
i whole heartedly agree, i love my music games, and the DS gives such a great way to play them
but im going to get a psp anyway, because of the lack of DS games at the moment, and in the off chance something good actually does come out for it
at least i can still play final fantasy legend I/II/III on my gamecube.

rather than starting a new thread, i'll just reply to this.
I Beleive the article should read that third-party developers may alienate nintendo, not the other way around.
Did i spy geeks and sports in the same sentence?
Not that we windows users don't enjoy living dangerously.

yes, and if i recall correctly the word is "hooah" not "hoorah", heard, acknowledged, understood, or some other military babble
..stop hating. think of consoles like races, you dont want to be a racist, do ya?
i do beleive that the last 3/4ths of posters are "off topic" or "redundant"
the 3rd or so post linked to the al gore invented the internet, now there are about 20 more to the same site.
so is there a mirror of the article somewhere for us to read?
next thing you know they'll probably reccomend fire fox!
..So i guess this means we won't see another crappy Turok game?
a well deserved troll name a kid who could develop the mod chip?
