I've got a great crossplatform porting technology to bring games to linux/mac. It's called OPENGL/SDL/OPENAL. And if developers would actually adhere to crossplatform code standards they could actually nail 3 markets at the same time. Heck it'll even cut down on your console port (ps3) supports opengl at leas tthe ES version afaik. I know someone at bioware and even he was saying they had to rewrite for opengl in the playstation port. companies that don't write for opengl in the first place are retarded.

The original speech is in the game... figured out that running privateer in dosbox let's you raw dump the wav audio, took us ages to get the sound out. works tho:D the work is not yet finished! there will be an expansion to the privateer mod coming that will add the whole wing commander universe... over 500 star systems.
The letter clearly listed Rahxephon as one of the shows, now Rahxephon has been on dvd in australia for ages now (years) and we get most stuff after america and I think after Europe. They're nailing a pirate group not a legit fansubbing group.

I can see this in a similar way to my own plight with gnome and kde, now I'm a gnome user, I'm not going to flame over which is better, I like to have my entire desktop look and work the same way, only gnome apps do that for me. I'm sure there are kde users who feel the same and who only run kde apps. Now that's not to say that running both is a bad thing, but some of us like having our cake and eating it to. So I can sympathize with mac people. The only real solution to this I guess is to let the guys writing the apps split the apsp into frontend/backend and get mac users/gnome users/kde users/windows users to write the frontends themselves.
Download that movie for free, and directly or indirectly, you are depriving the hundreds and thousands of crew members and artists that worked to create it and future movies. It's just a fact.

best way to get into babylon 5 is to buy the dvd box sets... I bought the first one as a total gamble.. now I own upto season 3... trying to save cash for the last two boxes.. it's definately worth the money... best written sci-fi EVER.
seems that x.org and gnome will do for people a lot of what enlightenment is trying, although I do find their idea of being able to run on top of X/framebuffer/directfb/qtopia to be kind of cool... it'll be interesting to see which of the two.. x.org or enlightenment have the better performance.

bittorrent is a LINUX distribution system, NOT a warez system, don't mistake the two. Warez was never intended to be a part of bittorrent hence it's not anonymous, linux users have nothing to fear.
simple integration with system? you gotta be kidding right? ever tried to use an ipod on bsd/linux? and an fm tuner? what is it you're wanting? an iriver... oh wait.. an iriver already has all of these features...:) and as for soud quality.. iriver has better sound fidelity and can drive speakers better than ipod can.
and yet Origin does still exist in the form of EA IP, which they still aggressively defend. I think hl2 will be safe. each new game valve brings out will use steam, shouldn't be too hard to keep hl2 authenticating when they're still running the servers for their newer games. besides, if they did go out of business they'll probably release a no steam patch.

Rockbox firmware http://www.rockbox.org coming soon will bust open the iriver's true potential! they already got the lcd screen to display their custom code... 140mhz motorolla coldfire cpu and 32mb sdram should be enough to handle any codecs you throw at it...:D looks like next year will be a good year for me.. and a bad year for ipod owners.
FM radio? iriver has had fm radio for ages. Color screen? get an ihp-320/340 the open source firmware recently got the lcd screen workign.. there was talk of making movies work on the color versions..
