Project Slypheed is a good example of this, there are certin wepons that you will can not get enough points to buy during your first pass trough the game. It lets you play the game again from the beginig with all the stuff you have, and let's you skip all the cutscenes, or you can go back and watch anyone you want again, some look bad ass with this giant space laser destroying the surface of a planet.
It's called "Rockstar Presents Table Tennis" I do believe those are the options that you can chose.
I do remember a clone called psycopong, where if you missed to whole table started to spin, and the more you missed the faster it went, so after a while, you couldn't tell what was going on anyway.
The article is about how the smiley face is used for humorus purposed, so how many geeks missed that the title was actually a joke, looks like just about everyone so far. Wow I don't know if I should be happy that I got it, or terrified that I did.
Well anyways.

Those guy's are obviously geeks, and the couldn't handle putting thier minds back in that kind of settings. Once they saw what the nerds in the game, they started to have flash backs, went into panic attacks and couldn't play anymore. Hey it brought back some similar memories for me, but when I hit the first jock with the sling shot it all went away because I finally felt redemtion, I'm jokeing of course. Or am I, to tell the truth it isn't much of a stretch, I can remember someone in my life that was similar to each caracter in the game.
HA HA, that funny, but I'm that anyone is suprised by this, Sony had Rockstar by the balls with the GTA series, that the games had to be released on the PS2 first and anything else months later. Now that over, and MS decided to do the smart thing and steal one of the PS biggest franchised right out from under them, with this extra content, does anyone here even think that Rockstar gives a krap what system their game sells on, if the console maker is throwing money at them, and the game is sure to sell on it.
I thought that all RAM unless its MagneticRAM, which isn't sold yet loses the data on it as soon as you pull it off the mother board. Could this be a typo an the document actually supposed to mean the hard drive?
Step one is building and Atlas Mech, figure out how the legs work, and build them up to a larger scale.
Theres also a Dadashi or a Kodiak, but then again they need a couple of guass rifles on the sides.
Macs are just like any high end car like a BMW or Mercedes, they look nice, have a few fetures that kick ass, and is a status symbol, but are the company that makes it is pretty much bending you over on the price. Windows is like a Ford or a Cheavy, not the best looking or most powerfull cars, but they get the job done for 90% of people that use them, of course everyone bitches that they breakdown way to much. Linux is like a street racing car, a million diffrent flavors, and yea you may have pimped it out with twin turbos, and converted ever bolt to metric, but that still isn't right for everyone. So fanboys quit argueing about it already because your just spinning your tires and just enjoy what you use instead.
Hey voyager had a good ending, it feel perfectly in line with the rest of the series. It was alot better than the ENT ending, and on par with the DS9 ending IMO, which I think was actually better than the TNG ending.
I've got a Zune, and its an awesome mp3/video player, I've used an IPOD, and I don't like it, the zune has alot easier UI and button scheme, plus for the same price a bigger screen than the tiny ipod one. Yes the Zune has its own software, but thats no diffrent than itunes being seperate from quicktime. The only thing that the IPOD has on the Zune is podcasting, but then again the itunes has been around for years and years, so they have had some time to fix it up, as to where the zune software hasn't even really been out a year yet. Anyone that bashes it just because Microsoft makes it needs to wake up, Apple is more evil than MS. If you look at anything that apple sells, you could easily find the same thing made by another company at leat 1/3 less cost. So before anyone bashes the Zune, please actually pick one up and try it out for a while before making a decision.
Yes, but you have to remember that AVP games were made first, and the movie second. Games that try to be tied directly to a movie, suck because they are usually made cheaply and quckly just to cash in on a quick buck from the hype of the movie.
I'm sorry but I just have to say it, the sincity game is going to suck major ass, mostly because of who is making it. A sims movie, what the hell were they thinking, like what the movie even going to be about, or is it people walking around with baloons with pictures on them of what they are talking about, I don't see a way for either of these projects to end well. The lego starwars collection I probably will buy for the 360 when it comes out, since I've only bout one game it the series so far, that is the only thing that sounds good in this whole thing.
Thats never going to happen, at least not in the way you say it. Sony is still making a mint on the ps2 and its sales. If they can't win in a suit against this company then will just pay off this company so that they can use this tech, just like what happened with the dual shock controler. Besides its not about the video games its just about the blue ray discs and they could probably just find a diffrent way to make them, like use just silver or an element thats not in the patent. I really hate $ony but, they are makeing enough money to keep their company alive. Sony has to may connetions for them to just get out of video games.
If there is some kind of deal with Novell, me may not be able to say any of the details publically, but that doesn't negate the fact of what he said before that sounds like a load of krap. I mean I'm a MS supporter, but I firmly believe that lawyers should be nowhere near anything that has to do with PR.
I agree that the d-pad isn't the best for some games, but then that game probably wasn't designed with that controler in mind to well. I've just gotten trough Gears of War and I'm playing the HALO 3 Beta, and I think that controler is perfect for those games, Gears ueses the d-pad very well.
I think its funny that in the article they talk about the wireless version, but shows a pic of the wired version.
I think its awesome that they got a Tenacious D song, but I really would like to see their song Tribute on that list, that would definetly be a face melter.
This looks like its becomeing a larger problem with society in general, almost like the new generation of tech savy creative kids VS the old instutions such as corporations, schools and the like that frown on creativity. These instutions feel that if you are part of them, like a student or employee, no mater where you are and what time it is, what ever you do reflects on them, so you can not do anything that would make them look bad. What makes a school or company look worse than a goofy youtube video, that alot of people see. I'm not sure maybe it is a generational divide or groups just not wanting bad press, but I dobut this problem will go away soon.
I think I understood it exactly, if I don't want to support a spyware vednor and have their krap on my pc, then don't go sign up for those websites, plain and simple.
I like the article I thought is was well written and had some valid points, but I think the thing I learned most is don't go to blockbuster or netflix websites.
MS is a big player in OS's not in video or music, so they must pander to the executives of those companies with stuff like DRM and what not. If it wasn't for the record industry the zune would let you play song unlimited times when you transfer it from a friend not just 3 like it does now. The people at MS realize this too, in a couple of year they may have the pull of apple, to have that they'd have to start buying every record label and movie studio, but then can you say monolopy, and the government would be on their asses again for something stupid. People aren't installing mythtv by the millions, but if MS put something out that didn't enable DRM, then people might be, and the studios would be after them too. People must realize that every thing MS does, must go trough a legal department just to make sure that MS doesn't have any more trouble with the justice department or the EU.
Wow, this actually looks like a PRO MS thread on/. and the other day I could swear that the last one about the Iphone was kind of negative to apple.

The old fashoned notion of a career in the US is DEAD, most people don't work anywhere more than 10 years, and you can forget that thing called a pension, these days unions are almost actively looking for ways to fire people once they see that they are getting close to retirement. I've seen it happen with my own father, the only careers left in our country is starting your own business and running it. If the economy keeps going how it is, we will have another depression on our hands, don't thnk the government is going to bail everyone out, but that's a whole nother post.
And if you immediatly think of something nasty when I say people will do alot of stuff for money, then your the disturbed one. I was actually thinking about mexican imigrants, like in california, that do backbreaking manual labor, like picking fruit in the sun all day for less than minimum wage. Anyone that think any job is beneath them need to wake up and realize that some day they may need to do anything they would never imagine just to survive.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, things like finger printing and a background test are normal, as for the giving a blood sample, that bugs me for now. As of yet there is now law that I know of that stops discrimination based on genetic profile, like if she had a gene that made here more suseptible to a certin disease or condition, that she wouldn't be hired. I doubt that will last long, sonner or later its going to realy get in the news about some one that didn't get hired or got fired because of genetic discrimination, and then some law will be passed banning it. Besides alot of people will do alot of things for money, if your sister doesn't do what that company wants, I bet there are hundred of other in line behind her for that job.
These guys aren't FPS hating they are hateing on everyone else that is going to ruin a great idea, like they guys that will set up bot so they can play online and get a high kill count, or they bastards in congress which are going to probably consider this online gambiling and put a stop to it. I for one love the idea, it would add a little satasfaction to a fun way to play, but the level of abuse that its going to endure is going to make regural people who play and would benefit the most, will actually benefit the least because of everyone cheating and what not. I'm definetly going to keep an eye on this and if it isn't totally horrible, I think I'll try it myself.

They are still being taught that the planet is only 3000 years old, and thet evolution is just some theory.
