    I was thinking the exact same thing. Sun is like the uncool kid in highschool that buddies up with anyone who won't steal their lunch money at the moment. It's sad to see a company so fierce in competition one time becoming such a softy. All the respect for sun engineers, I just don't know what the hell their management is up to.

    Alright, if world poker tour makes ESPN, video game CAL tournaments has got to at least make tech TV. There needs to be a channel dedicated to gaming.

    1 pm wolfenstein hour
    2 pm UT2004 hour
    3 pm Call of Duty madness

    Look at that.... this channel will be a hit. They can take all the server battles and enhance the taping with a ridiculous graphics card and play it on TV.

    Ok you must not own an iPod. Cause I do. And it causes more blue screen of death than any device I have ever hooked up to windows.

    I have cameras, camcorders, external drives and devices. Nothing remotely comes close to causing problems than the iPod. There is this ridiculous myth flying around that anything coming out of Apple is solid for a price. Well it's not true. From first hand experience, not to offend anyone, the iPod has caused blue screens on 3 separate PCs now.

    I am mighty confused. Are they claiming that UT2004, dragonball Z, backyard baseball and a host of other well known titles aren't profitable???

    Why bank on Driv3r? It's like GTA with only the driving action.

    While I can try out a million different versions of office, and get equal satisfaction. Everything really comes down to standards.

    Until there is something 10x more superior than .doc .xls .ppt standards. M$ is still winning the same game, just different players.

    As much as I am open to new systems. Every good Turbo Fx game can be counted by a good genesis or SNES games.

    Bonk Super Mario Series
    SplatterHouse Golden Axe or Final Fight

    The list goes on and on....

    I don't think this industry has come remotely close to making a fan that works. It's sad when people need tubes running to the bathroom just to keep the GPU or CPU cool.

    If you create a fan that doesn't need water and guarantees performance of a water cooler, I think it'd be a hit. I have never the gotten blue screen of death from a noisy fan. Look on any forum, people are not complaining about noise. People are whining about overheating...

    I am sorry but the last time I paid less than $1.25 for a sega game was probably 1999. Between their racing games and virtual-on like joysticks there is nothing in the arcade, sega or not, worth that kind of money.

    What the arcade needs is an 8 player golden axe with super moves, controls, graphics, dinosaurs with extreme brutality.

    What I am really interested in for my mame emulator is more games. There used to be a couple fast mame sites which you can download ROMs for. All of them have been pulled offline.

    Why get a controller if you can't even find games anymore??

    Wrist and eye are right up there on my list. I game alot, but not sure I am anywhere close to readily tackling 40hrs a week.

    This has got to be the end for nintendo. Even the handheld strategies for the future seem awefully lame.

    I expect Mario DS, Metroid DS, Zelda DS, Cruising USA DS. And every other one of the same game put to dual screens, whoopie doooo. As if you haven't seen the transition from mario, super mario, mario 64 etc etc.

    Looking at the light zapper and rumble controllers nintendo always innovated. I think their water well has finally gone dry.
    Time for sammy to buy them out like Sega.
