Wow, the guy has an amazing 10 feedback rating, all of them from sellers. Should anyone shell out $150,000 to some guy who has never sold anything from ebay before? No.
I don't think this is a joke, I think they just picked a bad day to release the information. If it is a joke, they sure are going a long way with it. The email submission form on the bottom doesn't seem to be working for me, though. Also, normal email users will never get anywhere near that 1GB quota.
It has formations. There's even a button next the map to turn them on and off.
no unit stances (other than stand ground, attack move, move. I want guard, retreat, etc),
guard = patrol, retreat = uh, "move" in the other direction
no 'next idle builder/miner' button,
there is both a button for this and a hotkey(f8 by default).
no display of a unit's queued orders, no way to queue MOST of the orders in the game, the list goes on.
queued orders are shown with totems/flags on the screen, and little green boxes on the minimap. most orders can be queued, including building structures. I can't think of any orders off the top of my head that can't be queued.
My computer sucks too. athlon xp1600, geforce2 titanium 64mb. GTA3 played like crap. But vice city is a huge improvement! Not only gameplay wise but performance wise as well. It runs much smoother than GTA3 did, although I still can't use the mp3 radio station without the game skipping.
they have a long way to go to catch up with the PC gaming community. battle.net regularly has more players than that online and playing at any time, and it's only for 3 games mainly.
someone else already mentioned the counter-strike players.
add in all the other online games and the xbox live population is just a drop in the bucket
did anyone notice the rockstar logo on that new norm mcdonald show "A Minute with Stan Hooper?" I noticed it once time during a promo and it was about all I could look at during the show. It was a little sticker with the Rockstar logo, sitting on the bottom left corner of the menu thingy at the petersons' store. no idea why it was there but it definately was!
Yeah I'm aware of the accusations but that's all they really are, accusations. No real action has been taken against it so why should I stop playing? On one hand you have some guy breaking some lisence agreement, and on the other you have people who somehow got their hands on medievia source code and published it on the internet, which IMO is a lot worse.
wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka wakka
But the sound when you get killed by a ghost is the most memorable. wooaloowooaloowooaloowooaloo BLOOP
modded down for horrible onomatopoeia
It's not a joke. Anyone who's ever had to work with customers from the general public would know that the general public is generally stupid. I worked at a movie theater for two years and I was amazed by the idiocy I witnessed!
Yes, it would feel a lot more real to have some huge musclebound orc walk up to me and challenge me to a duel... in a little squeaky girly little kid voice.

Another tech job lost to a foreigner...
I can read them while on the toilet. And no I don't have a laptop!
Doesn't matter. Valve owns the rights to it now. If you buy something it becomes yours, no matter who made it.
Those aren't crackers, they're Jes-itz!

The link in the story goes to ValveNET, which certainly isn't Valve Software.
Stuff is much funnier! Oh yeah it has chicks also
omg me too! (can you imagine how annoying I must be to hang out with??)
not at all :p

Sure it can. Apple, Gateway, Dell, etc...
yes, you should.
51 beats a second sounds a little unhealthy.
Anyway the normal heart rate is betweewn 70 and 80 beats per minute.

I would like to be the first to say: WTF?!
I have trouble beating my TI-89 calculator at chess!
Why don't I see anything about midichlorians?

I've been playing Medievia for about 5 years now. I have one god character and 3 mortals, 2 of which are heroes.
Of course MMORPGs will grow. There's sure-fire hit titles like EverQuest2 and World of Warcraft coming up soon.
It's Aiur. My life for Aiur!
En Taro Adun my bretheren.
