Actually, at first I read it as "odd copulation schemes,"

Your're not the only one. I figured they were talking about where the company in question could stick various objects or with whom (themselves) they could copulate with.

A mugging is not a life or death situation (usually). Most reputable firearms instructors will tell you that if your getting mugged and carrying, give the guy your wallet. It's not work your life or his.

Now if you are in a store where the "bad guy" is systematically executing hostages, having a gun and using it one him is worth trying. I used to legally carry a concealed pistol and would have given over my wallet in the first situation, and I would have used my gun in the second.

We shouldn't restrict gun ownership or concealed carry. We should just make sure that people who are licensed to carry should be trained. The laws on the books now already make it illegal for the "bad guy" to own or posses a gun. We don't need any more.

I'm curious, do you have any links for information regarding speciation? I can understand that evolution on a micro scale is quite evident and proven, but I have yet to see anything regarding macro evolution (speciation). I haven't yet heard/found any convincing evidence of this yet but I would love to see some. Thanks!

Socialism isn't "evil". It's just impractical with the human psyche. Most of us want to be "better" than the next guy. We want a better stereo, a better car, or a better house than the Joneses down the street. To get these things some are willing to work harder than others around us. When you introduce wealth redistribution, or socialism, it can, and usually does, take away the incentive to work hard. This stiffles production and innovation. And you will always get a few in power who will take a great deal more than the "equal" portion everyone else gets (Soviet Union, China, Cuba, N. Korea, by no means did/does the ruling party live like the populace). Socialism doesn't work because we are human, not because there are a few "evil" rich people. Ah well, an off topic rant for the holiday.
