Well, it looks as if they are re-inventing Google Answers, one of Google's best services from the early 2000s before Google went evil. It was discontinued, of course. Getting answers to questions from subject matter experts was great. The only thing missing here is payment. With Google Answers, you could offer more money to get a better, more detailed answer.

That does nothing of the sort Windy. You aren't even remotely credible. Care to site a single source that says poor people produce more CO2 than Rich. Or even the same amount?

Because there are plenty that show I'm right. It's just common sense really.

What it does not allow like many other EU country, is to extradite if there is a death penalty. Either the target country has to give up the death +penalty, or never apply it. I think winterkorn is safe from death penalty , so if the offense is valid under german law (and fraud is) extradition is not off the table.

Thank you for looking up the patent. Based upon that priority date of 2012, and the incredible specificity of the patent, I tend to wonder if perhaps Nintendo could win this based upon prior art for the various sub-components, as I don't see how you can justify a patent which basically amounts to putting Widget A (which has prior art) alongside Widget B (which also has prior art). If the patent amounts solely to combining the two, than that's not much of an innovation; that's just an intuitively logical progression.

As an example, this is one of the toys from the 70s, which I remember playing with when I was a kid: Tandy home pong game. There's the connected controller "Widget" right there.

I think it has more to do with how browsers handle errors. 2. Rotten Tomatoes measures how popular something is. Using it as a exclusively as "proof" of measurement of "quality" is shows you don't understand point #1 nor #2.

Now there is (some) overlap between a movie that is popular AND good, but there are at least 4 permutations you seem to be ignoring:

High / Good -- i.e. Baraka

Spy Kids has a 93% from critics (WTF?!), yet only a 46% from the audience.

More crap like this can be seen with SW:TLJ, critics rate it 91%, yet the audience score is closer to 24% (**) -- ignoring the animated Clone Wars (2008), it is the LOWEST Star Wars film to date.

First, the tower is grounded and at the same potential as earth. The primary concern is not electric shock.

CSS Fixes for new Google UI

Almost instantly reverted. The new UI wastes so much screen space -- and I'm running in compact mode (in both Classicy and New modes)

* Tabs (Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates, Forums) no longer have a vertical line separating them. You HAVE to mouse over them to see where each button ends.
* The left column of Inbox, Important, Sent Mail, etc. is wider.
* The 2nd column which showed the Senders and the number of emails in a thread no longer shows (#) but just the # number by itself.
* The middle columns are now less wide
* A new right column which shows vertical icons of Calendar, Keep, Tasks now wastes space
* The number of lines in the Inbox is now less due to the spacing between threads being increased.
