I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not from the USA and don't know any better. There are only a handful of communities in the US that are trying to stupidly incorporate Intelligent Design (I.e., "Creationism") into their school systems. Perhaps a total of 20.
If you consult your atlas, you'll see that the US has 50 states, most of which have hundreds of individual school districts.
So your blanket statement is automatically absurd.

As His Noodly Appendages reach towards the earth, they can grab spaceships waiting to be lofted into space, and once the ship reaches the top of the arc, it is let go.

I wouldn't go to the same trouble in terms of specifications and plans to slap together a doghouse as I would to build my own home. I would expect someone building a skyscraper to go to more trouble again. The same applies to software.

But really, why bother with *any* specifications - after all, God will just re-arrange the code through Uncaused Force (per you sig) and make it run well if you are a good person. And using the specs for determining the cause of any bugs is useless, I mean, if you can't determine why a bug is happening, then obviously it's because God wants the bug to happen ;)

I'm personally more apt to believe the FSM theory.

We should be thanking these pirates. They may have hinder the success of episode III. But their presence can help to lower global warming, which is a far more important issue*.

I'm down with that, as long as we also teach Strict Orthodox FSMism in Religious Education. I mean, there's also the same amount of evidence for either one of those, right?

And if you think Christianity is more "true" because of the age of the Bible vs. the age of the FSMism website? Well then, at the very least we should teach Zoroastrianism too, since it appears to predate Christianity, right?

In the same way, I'm all for the mixing of Church and State in the USA, as long as in addition to putting up the 10 Commandments in every courthouse you make a point of, in every church, stapling the Constitution to Jesus' chest.

Short version: We should start teaching ID/Creationism in Science classes when they start teaching Evolution in Sunday School, and not before.
