More energetic collisions happen in the upper atmosphere all the time when cosmic rays enter. If there was concern of black holes eating the earth, it would already have happened.

Meh. You have to wait for someone to manually update that page. You'd be better off checking the status yourself with the internal and external webcams.

What you need is the UK Home ministry to install more cameras, so that you can catch this "God" person (thingie?) red-handed.

Watch it for a minute, you can see the effects the hackers are having on them.

They put a couple webcams up watching the LHC. A guy has been messing with a couple panels on the thing for the past hour or so... kind of interesting to watch.
