No. There are two kinds of attacks. Data comes from outside:

1. Continouus data flow (for instance, buffer overflow in mplayer, infected porn clips)
2. Rare data flow (for instance you download the source code of emacs from a compromised
      host. The source code contains malicious code in "make install")

If you suffer from (1), your screwed anyway.
Now (2) is possible. One can forge such bad data and get an execute-once chance. And in this case modules ARE bad because you can use bad modules to undo SELinux and other protections and eventually open up a (1) system.
