Dedicated vibrating Playstation widgets are so 2004.

Re:Hardcore is right...
Female, 5'8" and 150 lbs? Yeah, about what I would expect from a hardcore girl gamer.
This is more the body type I would prefer.

Re:Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn for Sega
Well, Rez was published initially on the Dreamcast.

I'm sure that's THE game your girl would love
:P -
Re:An Updated REZ ?
At least give the good link.

Re:Way wrong.
Yes, someone played Rez.

Oh, it is. It is.
Oh, it's exactly what you think it is. I wonder if anyone's written a driver to have it thump along with the bass beat of whatever music you're playing.

Re:Maybe Halo was their first?
I can assure you if there was any ripping off, it was done by Half Life's developers. Go load up Marathon and you'll see what I'm talking about... Or, simply view the following pages:
Halo: Original Game, or Sequel?
Halo Resources - Marathon Similarities
Halo Story Page - Marathon Connections
Basically, the Halo "universe" is hugely an evolution of what Bungie began in the early 90s with the Marathon series. If you loosen the technicalities a little bit, Halo is basically a beefed up kickass version of what Marathon ought to have been.. ;) -
Re:Let's try INFLATING: Re:Wii Hype Defating Rapid
This has been done with the PS2.

OMG! wet gaming girls!
Attachments will always be used in ways not imagened by the manufacturer, as the Rez trance pack proofed. Not wii, not wireless, but fully functional.
What have you done! Thousends of
/. geeks will have clicked on that link and have had to change their pants! :PThis is exactly what I meant - now we need the male version - as seen in THX-1138...

Re:Games on MTV?
Already done. It's called Rez

Re:Vibration Features
Maybe something like this...

We were somewhere around Arakkis when the spice...
I may have gotten this link from
/. originally but it's apropos here - Ten unmissable examples of New Games Journalism
These articles are written in a chronological, personal style that you might call Gonzo, though I'm not sure I'd call it all "journalism". My favourite is the insanely long but utterly fascinating account of an enormous heist in Eve Online, The Great Scam by Nightfreeze, which will be a hit with the Slashdotters. Any roaming Diggers will want to skip directly to the also well written Sex in Games: Rez + Vibrator.
But in the end, is this the correct journalistic voice for technology? Gonzo journalism is a very human format and that may not be interesting to read when describing technology (unless the gadget works very well or very poorly). -
Re:Sounds good
But does it come with a trance vibrator?
-
Rez / Space Channel 5
So they may not be two player per say, but you'll get some tolerable gaming, and she just might enjoy herself too.

Rez w/Trance Vibrator
Pics are PG-13, but Not necessarily work safe.
It's a one player game, but there's definitely something for her to do. Just think of it as automating foreplay while you get game time.
Rez w/Trance Vibrator -
Re:for the womens
Reminds me of this, too.

Re:Marketing for Women
The Real question is
"Does the game ship with these http://uk.insight.com/apps/productpresentation/ind ex.php?product_id=EXO88121?"
No, the Real question is, does the game ship with these? -
Re:Fun and Funny
I assume you've heard of the nigh-on-infamous Rez Vibrator?
-
Re:Damn it
-
Re:APRIL FOOLS???
No need to patent it, it's already been done.
It's even been reviewed by I member of our fairer sex.
Too bad we're all too prudish in America to advetise this sort of thing.
-
Re:Wow. You bet it's a good game
Nah, that's Rez.
-
REZ!
-
On the PS2
That would be Rez.
Well, maybe not so much playing, but she likes participating. -

and here's evidence showing that its not!

Re:No voicechat.Text. Typing. It's a very RPG-ish thing. Voicechat is not. I don't want to know that the beefy warrior I'm partying with through the mountains is actually some dinky thirteen year old kid with a retainer. I don't want to know that the really hot night elf with the long legs and the quiver full of hard, stiff arrows is really a 45 year old guy with a speech impedement.
You may enjoy this, on the subject of voice chat in RPGS: "Not Yet, You Fools", by Richard A Bartle. This is an extablished part of the literature, not sure why nobody seems to have linked it yet.

Re:Nintendo, like Apple is NOT dying
Was a complete and utter failure? While it didn't sell out in the first 10 minutes, it still sold quite respectably. 150 million dollars in sales in the first weeks is not a failure. It hit the 500,000 mark in 2 days, which is a bit ahead of the GBA and DS's launch week to hit that mark.
Plus, it's already engendering certain emotions not otherwise seen in the gaming community. (not since Rez, anyway). Of course, GGA has a good writeup. Anything that can make gaming not dorky is a success in my book, independent of sales.
I don't own a PSP and I don't plan to any time soon. But the system has quickly grabbed a respectable user base, and become a real part of the gaming landscape. They're giving the big N at least a run for their money, and they have a real chance at grabbing the pocket-sized crown. Kudos to Sony for doing what Sega, NEC, Tiger, Bandai, SNK Playmore, and Atari couldn't. -

I guess you could say that -
Sure they're playing.
Now that we've got games targeted at them.

Rez Trance Vibrator
(Go ahead, click on the link. You know where it leads. You know you want to see it again!) -
obligatory Rez reference
Apparently Rez is a popular sound based game since it also includes physical feedback.
-
DC vs. Pixar? On the basis of this, shouldn't DC be suing Pixar? I mean, "Elastigirl" is basically "Plastic Man" with breasts (and Plastic Man could have breasts anyway, he's plastic!). They have some of the same letters ("lasti"), and sound superfically similar. Plus, evil Pixar even flaunted it by putting Elastigirl in a red outfit! I mean really.
Gazerbeam? Total rip-off of Cyclops (Marvel again).
The point is, in most cases, the super-hero genre is a string of characters with similar abilities all with slightly different names or secondary powers. There's going to be a lot of overlap. Marvel would have to prove that NCSoft set out to promote said infringement. That's not the case. NCSoft is more like Xerox (or, say, a beat-up old Canon multifuction ink jet printer/copier/fax): you can make "infringing" copies, but (a) that's not the intent and (b) the copies all kinda suck anyway.

Well here they are:

Re:Great news...
